Mango and Life

Mango is a delicious fruit, filled with juicy sweetness to burst into your mouth a refreshing, satisfying taste. Life is a delicious journey with juicy, fun adventures to create similar emotions. But have you ever attempted to cut a Mango in half?

As I approached the beautiful fruit, my mind imagined the sweet flavor of the yellowish juicy fruit with some yummy cottage cheese. Combining the two to create one of the most wonderful dishes ever to be experienced. My taste buds were tingling as I reflected back to our visit with mom and dad (Drake), in Kauai.

We would gather Papayas from Ray’s garden, gently slice it open, long ways to gently scoop out the seeds, replace them with a scoop of cottage cheese and Wala! The best breakfast ever imaginable!

Pause…did you know that Papaya seeds are much easier to slice than a mango seed? I was not prepared for my next adventure. In my mind, I thought the two fruits were so similar that as I began inching my way around the Mango, I realized this is not the same situation!

First I created a fine line all the way around. Repeated the motion as I pierced the knife a little deeper into the fruit. Until I came to a point where my knife was not going any deeper. Without realizing the severity of the strong casing holding the Mango seed, I began to gouge at the center. As my fury escalated I felt my fingers squishing the outside (best) portion of the fruit. Juices are now streaming down my fingers attempting to reach my elbows. I am furious with this stupid seed. I peel back the skin portion, pause to lick my fingers, in order to get a better grip. Continuing to tug, stab and rip at the outer casing of the seed. I finally have one half of the fruit in one piece on my plate.

I felt satisfied, but the emotion of satisfaction only lasted for a fleeting moment. Although I was pleased to have something similar to my favorite breakfast in Hawaii; my attention was quickly diverted back to the stubborn casing around the seed.

Instead of enjoying the fruit with the cottage cheese created as beautiful as, I DESIRED! I…picked up the other half, which was still plagued with this white fiber-like casing, which holds the seed and begin to dig.

At this point, I am determined to remove all parts of this PIT! I begin to gently slice around the underneath of it. I carefully lift it up only to find there are still some attached. I begin to surgically cut more restraints to accomplish the task. My focus is fixed on the removal of the entire middle.

Not to save the delicious fruit, no that is not of any concern to me. Finally! TA DAAAA!!! I am holding the seed in my hand, along with its white fiber-like casing. Yes, I feel AMAZING! Thank you! Thank you very much!

Continuing to feel accomplished I take pictures, create a short video which I have included and begin to eat my breakfast. Only to have my attention diverted once again.

My thoughts were, “Why did I have to remove this ugly, not enjoyable seed with its outside covering? None of this is the sweet portion or what I started out desiring when I began creating this dish.”

Next, I began to pick at my dish, I had actually created. “This isn’t like the Papaya. I don’t know if I like this. I am bummed. All that work and for what?”

My solution became simple, I just took a long way around to find it. In the end I cut the fruit into chunks and mixed it in with the cottage cheese. It was not the same taste, but its differences illuminated and isolated a different, yet equal flavor.

Does everyone else do this? Do you squeeze the sweetness out because you are obsessed with the pit? I didn’t plan to write about my breakfast, but the evolvement has been savory!

As I compare life to a mango…I wonder how many sweet-savory moments have I celebrated for only a moment because I was so obsessed with the flavorless pit or downfall. I was overtaken by the what ifs. So I had to delve in deeper and deeper until I found the root of all answers. The seed! The who, what, when, where and how this delicious fruit can to be so MAGNIFICENT! Instead of just enjoying the fruit. (I get it! Do you?)

But did I have to dig deeper and deeper to enjoy the fruit? No, I didn’t have to see, touch or taste the pit to know it wasn’t the best portion.

Are you digging for the seed? Or are you enjoying the fruit?

GPS, take me to _____?

Do you know what GPS stands for? I didn’t until I began to research for this post. However, I do know what this fabulous tool does! I can tell you how to navigate it, its many choices of routes and its main objective. But I could not share with you the actual meaning behind the acronym, until now.

For a directionally challenged person, a GPS is a lifesaver. Take me to the nearest grocery store, shopping, or restaurants. Maybe you know the specific address. Type it in and several possible routes will appear. Allowing you to have an entire plethora of choices.

Would you prefer the more scenic route? It may be 6 minutes longer, but it has more twists and turns. Or are you a straight to the point person? Then the freeway route is predicted to be a shorter time and more direct route.

One of the best parts of the GPS is its sense of determination. Although it provides you with a wide variety of routes to choose from, based on your needs. It has a determination to reach the destination regardless of any detours thrown in its path.

Have you ever used your GPS while trying to maneuver out of a subdivision? Then once you knew your way home you attempted to turn it off? It is crazy! The statement, “rerouting,” appears continuously.

What if we practiced this type of determination in our lives? We set the goal and every time a detour appears, we do not falter. Instead, we keep on ‘rerouting’ until our destination is complete. Then on to the next great adventure!

Don’t let the detours stop your journey. Find the delicious sweetness within the pit-stop and allow the detours to be a blessing. Cherish the opportunity to choose your preferred route and keep on moving towards the destination.

(Global Positioning Service is the meaning behind GPS)

May you be blessed on your journey, each and every day!

At Livelove we want to be your GPS towards your goals and preferable routes. Check us out at:

Inspiring minds want to know!

How does success feel? If you don’t know how it feels, how do you know if you want it?

I hear you! Everyday people explain to me their opinions of success measurement. For example, when I am married, earn X amount of dollars or have ten thousand followers, then I will be successful. Or any other stipulation, we all place in the category of success. My question is how does the ‘when’ feel?

“If you do not know before you have it, how will you know when you have achieved it?” asked me.

Read it again! The last statement says you must feel, how you will feel, once you have achieved any goal, before you have achieved it. Think about it…peek back into your past and think of an accomplishment, that throughout the journey, you had days of hopelessness and fears, beyond belief. However, you persevered sometimes out of neccessity and other times out of desire to improve. Yet once you reached the goal, you were quickly on to the next one.

Now fast forward to YOU, today. Are you standing or sitting up a little taller now? Is your head held high, go ahead pause to pat yourself on the back, after all you deserve it! You have jumped hurdles and finished the race, in one format or another. Even if it was not your best race, you finished it and went on to achieve even more. Thats why it is time to feature your accomplishments. Take the time to applaud yourself, at this very moment for the goals you have already achieved.

I don’t care who you are, your age, income, race, background or location does not set us apart from the truth…we have all been faced with adversity, while striving to accomplish a goal or desired outcome. Then once the goal is accomplished, we are glad to move on to the next delicious adventure. Do we think it will be perfect? Not at all, but we know deep down in our souls, we will accomplish the next one and the next one. Because it is who we are.

During one of my happy coaching sessions my friend wept on the other end of the phone and pleaded for me to tell her she was not crazy. “Crazy?” I questioned.

Through her tears and sniffles, attempting to regain her composure, she replies with, “Yes, I feel crazy at times. Because I am happy in the midst of madness. My ex-husband continuously reminds me of who I once was and I always cringe and think, I don’t want to be that person anymore. I was unhappy, lonely, and bored. Please tell me I am not crazy!”

After discussing back and forth what she was fearing, I repeated back to her, what she said. What happened next was like opening the gates of acceptance, for her. She realized how amazing her life was and she didn’t feel crazy anymore, but rather happy with her ‘successful’ outcome. After such a difficult time in her life, her vision of success was feeling threatened. Therefore, she was facing her adversity. She felt guilty for feeling happy and for knowing what happiness felt like. If you are like me, you must know the outcome of a story. “Yes, she is extremely happy and is taking time to feel how great success feels!”

How does your vision feel? Your dreams? Goals? If you don’t know then take time to pause…and feel. What do they smell, taste, touch, sound, and look like? Not specific, just feel them…are they sweet or a bit more spicy? Do you crave it even more when the sweet smell wafts across your nostrils? Are there articles raving about you? Or sweet lovers notes on your pillow at night?

Share with us either something you are struggling with now or something you accomplished. We would love to celebrate with you.

Inspiring minds want to know! If you email us your story at you may be featured on Livelove’s website as a highlighted ‘Happy’ accoplishment to uplift others by assisting them in Living, Loving and Carrying on!

After all how do we all want to feel? Good, Happy, Better, or Inspired.

As I inhale slowly and exhale even slower…I send you feelings of love, hopefulness, clarity and sweet, sweet success. Until we meet again!

This next message I am sharing with you is for one of the sweetest young ladies I know. She is an inspiration to me on a daily basis!

As I was meditating, I continued to ask for much needed personal guidance. Because the past few days I felt a bit sad and stuck. My fears (false evidence appearing real, Jack Cannefiled) continued to show up. I was worried about money, my business, my goals and dreams.

The more I focused on my own issues, the more this sweet little message for Ashley, persisted! I finally gave up! “Okay, what does Ashley need to hear?” I asked in an irritable manner.

Once I wrote it down, tears filled my eyes. One by one streamed down my face, as I read word for word.

I told her I was sending it on, but I read it one more time. And Poof, out of no where, I received my own messages! They were amazing.

One of my messages: Sometimes, the road ahead appears to be difficult. Therfore, take one step at a time. Then if you slip a little off the path, you will have the strength to carry on with the other foot.

So even when you dont feel up for the challenges, life throws at you, it’s okay! Take time to be still, inhale/exhale and listen. You have the answers at your finger tips, you only need to allow yourself to receive them.

Ashley’s message, sent with love…

If you don’t feel stuck how will you celebrate or know what freedom feels like?
If you don’t feel a little hopeless, how will you know how it feels to be filled with hope?
I am with you and guiding you!

It is okay to feel down, it is all a part of the process. However, the best part is when in the valley (or the trough of a frequency) the next wave is up, up ,up so allow the frequency to move you.

Your next portion is going to move into your life so swiftly and peacefully, it will feel like a swift, warm, refreshing breeze zooming up to the crest or top of the wave! Ride high my dear friend and enjoy.

You have asked and now you shall receive!

If you think you need a little extra help getting on the path towards your dreams, email us or go to our webpage, to read more about what we offer.

Please, place the blinders over your eyes and proceed forward

When our paths cross, I would like to ask you, to do me a favor, human to human, look at me with blinded eyes.

Blinded to my beliefs that were embedded in my brain through my surroundings.

Blinded by the color of my skin that I did not choose, but rather it was bestowed upon me by the DNA of my mother and father.

Blinded by the land I was born, by my judgement, your judgement and our diversities that separate us.

Rather enjoy my smile, a hug or a moment of peace. Because although we are all differentiated by a beautiful array of backgrounds, our similarities stitch us together.

Drawing us closer, regardless of our differences. We are people and people are in pursuit of happiness, betterment, improvement and/or comfort while experiencing this journey.

Isn’t it time we find solutions in each other? The solutions to allow you, to live the life you desire?

United we stand and divided we fall! Come on my human friends. Close your eyes and instead of continuously highlighting the problems in others; feel our similarities. And…

Live like you have never lived before.

Love with your entire being…yourself, others and all experiences.

Carry On! Carry on with your pursuit to improve and feel good.

Love will always win!

God Loves You no matter what!

‘How to’ Continued…

To be continued…The emotions of defeat, despair and fear creeped in at times. Even up until December 8th, 2016. The day I crushed my leg and sat in a meditative state for several months. At that point in my life, I had turned in my resignation at the school and was following my dream! I had a published a much needed, non-fiction book, about talking to your kids, about sex. Once again, I was beaming with happiness.

However, shortly after my adventure began, I was placed into park! What? Come on, I was almost there. I could touch my dream of being a, monetary rewarded writer or what we entitle it as, a paid author. But nope, not yet. My patience had worn quite thin.

As I meditated,  went to physical therapy, slept a great deal, I learned and learned from avenues unimaginable. Instead of being like, I had been in the past, who was running around chasing her dreams with furry and might; I filled notebook after notebook with thoughts or ideas. Sometimes I spent hours writing a fiction story filled, with drama and comedy all rolled up in one.

My exploration of me, was out of this world. I do not wish for anyone to experience my pain, but to experience the reflection and exploration, now that would be awesome!

If I had so many down times, then why do I feel ‘good’ enough to write a ‘How to’ article? Because it took all those ups, downs, lefts and rights, to bring me to this point. The point where we ask HOW? About everything. During an age when people have more faith and trust in “Okay Google…” than we do in ourselves.

You see, it took all of those micro-stories for me to explain ‘how to’ be a writer, explorer, artisit, happy, appreciative, grateful, expressive, full of love and living like never before.

The one most important key is…Are you ready?

Yes, that is my answer and I am sticking to it!

As I reflect back to my first request to write for our small town newspaper and the editor replied with, “What experience do you have?”

I bowed my head and said, “None!” (Don’t be like me and waste years because of one ignorant person, questioning your ability).

After many let downs, my next move, towards becoming a writer, was when a new editor came in, I began working with him. Not writing for him, but yet having students write for him. Until, one day, I asked, “Would you let me write for you?”

My strongest desire was to write! And second was to motivationally speak at events, on television, and don’t forget my biggest dream (still pursuing) to be a guest host on Jimmy Falon.

It was a dream come true to receive my first, monetary reward, for my writings! Opening up a whole new world, for me. It didn’t matter how great or small of an amount it was, I had reached and accomplished, one long term, goal and it felt terrific!

Be careful, playing the whiney, making excuses, person and repeating, “I have already tried eveything and it doesn’t work,” bit. No it won’t work. If you continue in this mind set, you will always be, exactly where you are now. I promise.

If you want it bad enough and continue to stay in the mind-set of growth and, “I KNOW I CAN!” It will most definetly happen.

Now do you see why my answer is, to BEGIN? Because although I had several let downs or bumps in the road, my results were as expected. I went to the starting line and took the first step. I have taken many slides backwards. I have fallen, been bruised, bumped and taken to the level of not seeing my way out, but I only stayed in the valley, for a little while.

Life is a frequency, not maybe or can be compared to, it is a frequency. (I do not want to bore you with the details of the electromagnetic spectrum and energy, yada, yada, yada (so please trust me). Life is a frequency. And you are in control of the intensity. Meaning if you are focusing and sending energy towards what you desire, then you probably feel pretty good, at this point. However, if you were like me and focusing on the lack of, you probably feel terrible.

I love being a writer! It is what I love to do and yes, I receive monetary rewards for my writings. Funny thing is, the reason for my certainty, is the entisity of my desire to complete this ‘How to’. The entire time I feel exhilarated. Supper is not started nor planned, phone is on silent and my Writing Palace is becoming dark, as the sun sets.

One of my best confirmations, that I was on the correct path for me, was when I was at my worst and money was not involved, I chose to write! And write, and write!

Find which ‘how to’ you would do without any reward and begin. I promise it will never feel like work and there will be times, when you feel a little bit guilty, because you are so darn happy, whisteling while you work. While everyone around you can only talk about their hectic lives and stress levels.

Yes, everyone must earn a living. I understand this. But why not reap the rewards by doing what you love? I loved teaching! I loved being a clown! I continue to love teaching! I love writing!

I know it sometimes feels impossible, to reach your dreams, but you can do it. I can remember when I didn’t think graduation from college was a possibility, but I did it. I had the desire to be known as a wonderful author, I am on my way! All because the first step was taken. It may not have been a smooth, easy road, but every bump, valley and hilltop have been fantastic! Looking back, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

Recap…How to be a writer? Do it! Begin at the starting line. Grab a notebook, pen or pencil and write your emotions, words, poems don’t worry about the combination of words. The rest of the story will be history, I promise. You will begin to be presented with new opportunities.

As for agents, managers, publishing, and blogging…follow your instincts. I will tell you, WordPress has been an amazing company, to have a blog and if you do not have a blog site, get one. It will change your writing life.

Don’t allow one comment to hender you or a rejection to stop you from continuing on. Instead of thinking you weren’t good enough for them, turn it around and think wow they weren’t right for me. Then move on. Maybe self-publishing is better for you, explore all of your options, but all of this is irrelevant, if you do not begin!

‘How to’ be anything else or have do or be anything…Doesn’t matter what…You must begin. Not one successful person, woke up one day and was magically, deliciously, abundant in love or money. However, they continued to pursue, push and play with their hopes and desires, until the frequency became so intense it happened. Their goals were completed, to allow new ones. Their vision came to fruition because they continued to clearly feel how terrific it felt! They learned from the journey, while jumping every hurdle with a smile. But still yet, none of this could have been reality for them, unless they took the first step and BEGAN!

God Bless

You are amazing and I hope this post helps you to forget the exact path of How and rather to take the first step at begin. May all your dreams come true!

How to…

I am asked on multiple occasions, how to become a paid writer. I am also asked, in massive amounts, by ‘how to’ gurus, to pay 5000 dollars or more, to learn ‘how to’ become a paid professional writer. Oh and they always throw in the AND…’how to’ earn millions of dollars, doing it. Therefore, I am writing my first ‘How to…’ blog posting and I hope you learn a great deal from this. Maybe you have an idea of expertise, you would like to share with the world. If so, let me know if this post helps you, by signing up for my blog, where you will read more fun, free, writings from a paid writer (and it’s free).

As we begin this exploration of becoming a writer or anything else we want to be, please allow me to give credit where it is do. My daughter and I were discussing YouTube videos, bloggers and entertainers on social media. In the past it was more about how much fun, funny, interesting, knowledgeable and so forth, people were. However, today it feels like everything is a up sell. “If you click here, watch this and begin to desire that, I will then sell you a program for you to learn more. I will tell you all the tricks, turns and hurdles, you will need to make to follow your dream.”

The more we discussed it the more we agreed. We wanted to learn, laugh and explore, but if you are planning on teaching us and expect monetary reward, then tell me ‘how you’ did it. For example: How to become a model, actress, millionaire, professional speaker, paid writer, YouTube, ect. Give us more details. Share with us the down moments, struggles and moments of AHA! When it all came together, how you felt and how you feel now. Provide us with real life stories to connect with. And then share your expertise, without any reward in mind.

Maybe we need more biographies demonstrating the struggles, down times, upswing, breaks…emotions of how devastated they felt, at one time. Yet, I am here now and successful. Therefore, thank you, Darion because you inspired this ‘How to’ blog post and hopefully it will inspire more talented people to share. (Can’t you feel the connection of joy when reading the inspiration of helping others, find and obtain their dreams?)

I remember, just like it was yesterday…As I close my eyes and reflect, I remember inhaling, filling my lungs to a level of expansion, like never before. I then exhaled almost blowing that old, heavy, clumpy word processor, off the make-shift desk. Eric had created it out of some old scrap wood. I had buried myself into this book. I only had two children, at the time and was still in my mid-twenties.

My job was hectic and tiring. There were nights, I would cry because I was so tired and would give up on my dream. However, it was finally done! My first book! Oh my emotions were similar to giving birth to a child. Exhilarating, relieved, painful but not as painful, exasperated and grateful. I sent it off to publishers, agents, I had several friends edit it, oh, it was going to be perfect. I even contemplated withdrawing from school, for education, because I knew this was my calling!

Don’t you remember me? The famous writer from Trimble County?

If you do know me? It is not from that ‘book’ I completed many years ago. To be honest I can’t even remember the title. Instead you would know me now from my educational, clown, balloon, entrepreneur, teacher, leader, professional motivator, coach, and maybe even as a writer.

You see, as my daughter and I were discussing the irritating ‘watch this, buy this and all your dreams will come true…’ we both realized we would enjoy knowing how they felt, both good and bad, what happened in the beginning or did you wake up one day, LIVING YOUR DREAM?

Therefore, as I allow you to have a sneak peek of my life, I am sending out the vibration for you to grab hold of and learn. This is for you to see how amazing it is to share the wealth, in your own way or knowledge of expertise.

Back to my journey of becoming a writer and yes, a monetary rewarded author. That first book became nothing more than a memory. It was a delightful story about a young child, who had been diagnosed with the dreadful disease, Cancer. The story line was based on my experience with our cousin, Kelcey. It was about healing, God, prayer and family. When we lost her, I can’t remember, but I think I threw the manuscript away. YES, after months and months of writing, editing and sending it out.

As for the numerous amounts of dollars I spent as well as hours of sending book proposals out, I had little to no feedback, from publishers or agents.

Needless to say, this dream was placed on the shelf for many years. I continued to pursue my education and later taught 8th grade and elementary age students for several years.

While teaching I would continuously work with students who were interested in writing. Writing books, stories, poetry, playbook, songs, you name it we incorporated it. Although, my speciality was Science, I found ways to explore my desire to write.

I would take classes on how to get started. Then incorporate the how to receive monetary reward. (I know this is an honesty blog, but I choose not to reveal the countless amount of money, spent on guides, how to video sets, and webinars. However, I will share with you this, “If you knew you and everyone else in my family would be shocked.”).

I don’t have any regrets! My journey has been magical and continues to amaze me on a daily basis. However, I didn’t always feel this way. Actually, I remember feeling depressed at times, disheartened, irritable and lost, in my on life. Sure I functioned as a normal human. For example: Get up go to work, be the best you can be, receive a paycheck (always knowing you weren’t doing it for the money, but it would be nice to be able to earn the amount deserved, per hours put in). I was a mommy, wife, teacher, entrepeneur, care taker, daughter, and the list goes on and on.

You see, I do remember times when I thought, “I am not going to make it!”

However, I did make it! Through every medical emergency, that we didn’t have insurance for. Every scrape, bruise, broken bones, painful moments; along with the laughter, triumphs, and accomplishments, both great and small. If you take the time to reflect and celebrate, you too, will remember the valleys. But you will also be grateful for every bump. And hopefully you will be filled with inspiring thoughts to re-find your dreams and begin. Before long, you will be sharing with me on the ‘how to’ be successful at whatever you, Love to do!

Stay tuned in, there is more to come on this ‘How to’ article, next posting 😀.

God Bless
