Happy Coaching 101 continues, even when I don’t feel inspirational…thank goodness!

This next message I am sharing with you is for one of the sweetest young ladies I know. She is an inspiration to me on a daily basis!

As I was meditating, I continued to ask for much needed personal guidance. Because the past few days I felt a bit sad and stuck. My fears (false evidence appearing real, Jack Cannefiled) continued to show up. I was worried about money, my business, my goals and dreams.

The more I focused on my own issues, the more this sweet little message for Ashley, persisted! I finally gave up! “Okay, what does Ashley need to hear?” I asked in an irritable manner.

Once I wrote it down, tears filled my eyes. One by one streamed down my face, as I read word for word.

I told her I was sending it on, but I read it one more time. And Poof, out of no where, I received my own messages! They were amazing.

One of my messages: Sometimes, the road ahead appears to be difficult. Therfore, take one step at a time. Then if you slip a little off the path, you will have the strength to carry on with the other foot.

So even when you dont feel up for the challenges, life throws at you, it’s okay! Take time to be still, inhale/exhale and listen. You have the answers at your finger tips, you only need to allow yourself to receive them.

Ashley’s message, sent with love…

If you don’t feel stuck how will you celebrate or know what freedom feels like?
If you don’t feel a little hopeless, how will you know how it feels to be filled with hope?
I am with you and guiding you!

It is okay to feel down, it is all a part of the process. However, the best part is when in the valley (or the trough of a frequency) the next wave is up, up ,up so allow the frequency to move you.

Your next portion is going to move into your life so swiftly and peacefully, it will feel like a swift, warm, refreshing breeze zooming up to the crest or top of the wave! Ride high my dear friend and enjoy.

You have asked and now you shall receive!

There is no greater or less than, when it comes to you…

As ‘life’ seems to happen around us, many people like to compare stories or talk about the issues. However, there is no comparisons between your story and theirs.

Of course we are all connected and as humans, we can all FEEL empathy or sympathy depending on our similar incidents.

But…everyone has moments of being depressed, sad, hurt, lost and disappointed. I can remember the day, my son explained that pointing out all the reasons someone should be grateful, isn’t always the best feeling emotion for someone suffering. I questioned why or why not, it always seemed to work for me. Highlighting all the reasons I should be grateful, how blessed I am and so on.

Nick explained how sometimes those comments are more detrimental to the person.

That was several years ago and to be completely honest, I didn’t truly understand.

Now, I do!

You see we ALL have moments where life feels overwhelming, too much and disappointing. Those who their stories, are well known and inspire others, but also you and me.

As I wrote and rewrote my speech for the area contest @Earlybirdstoastmasterskc, the days seemed to be zooming by. Closer and closer, my excitement was building and the anticipation of all the exciting opportunities, this club has to offer, was assisting me in working up the best message, I had ever written! Ohhh, if you could only feel my radiating excitement.

Yet, day by day in LA we had to jump one hurdle and then twenty five more or maybe a hundred more! (Okay I am being a bit over dramatic, as Ashby says).

But it is true. I could whine and cry about every little speed bump thrown in front of us, but where would we be then? Instead let me share what I have learned.

This week I had to let go of my first speech competition. It was to be on Monday February 5th. There were no guarantees I would move on to the next level, because our club has intense competition, but I wanted to attempt it, in the worst kind of way!

I had prepared and practiced the entire road trip from Kansas to LA.

As the hurdles popped up, some one at a time, others it seemed like fifty at a time, I began to realize my excitement was about to he turned into disappointment! With all the issues about having Princeton, I quickly realized my trip would be delayed, forcing me to step down from the competition.

Now this may seem silly to anyone else, but I cried and cried! I was disappointed, sad, overwhelmed and a little bit selfish. Most of all I was torn! This was my baby girl and very dear to me granddog. But I also wanted to attempt this competition!

Then my lessons began!!! Everytime I would express my disappointing emotions someone would share on Facebook or tell me about a horrific event. For example in the past month we have lost loved ones to accidents, cancer, flu and suicides. I would cry for them or add to my prayer list.

Yes, my silly little issues seemed trivial after all of that. I have so much to be grateful for, I know that.

Then I realized Nick was correct. Pointing out or minimizing our own disappointments, by comparison, is not fair, to you.

My epiphany was EVERYONE, experiences their own depression and disappointments. And YOURS is just as important as the next one. Because we are all on our own journey and life happens whether we are striving to improve or not.

And MAYBE, JUST MAYBE…this is a key to helping others choose to feel all the emotions, yet not give up.

The key is to allow yourself to feel the negative emotion. Express your feelings of disappointment. (Allow this moment). Do not worry about feeling trivial compared to other people’s issues. I am Not saying dwell on it and/or illuminate the situation, but rather, ALLOW yourself to have a moment of tears.

It is okay!!! There is no greater and less than, when it comes to you and how you feel. Maybe if we begin to allow kids and adults to say, “I feel like giving up.”

We will have less severely depressed or suicides. When I was having a moment of ‘selfish disappointments’ it felt good to allow the sadness, for a moment. It forced me to find solutions, it allowed me to be human, and it reminded me how quickly ANYONE can give up.

It is time we begin to allow our younger generations to know we have all been there. We have all had struggles and let it out. All of it! Say it if you feel it. It’s okay.

No matter how trivial it may be to others. Your disappointments, moments of sadness or maybe your losses are not comparable to others! You are allowed to say it because believe it or not… EVERYONE experiences negative emotions.

My greatest hope is…this post will help one person to choose life. If you are not feeling so well about something, say it! And quit worrying about comparing apples, arangatans, and kale spinach. This is YOUR EXPERIENCE! No one elses!

Here I go again!

Picture this, I am without makeup, hair is up in a messy bun, still in my pajamas and have only had one cup of coffee. That cup is the only evidence of me even being out of bed…THE ENTIRE DAY! So What? I will tell you so what, I should be off to the shower, getting dressed and attempted to look productive. BUT NOOOO…I am sneaking back to my computer to write, just one more. One more inspirational thought to share. One more description so intense, you are entranced to continue to read, follow, like and share, all in one fell swoop. Why? Why do I choose to write it? Why? Why can’t I be like everyone else and just video blog it? I guess in time. However, for now my large audience of six readers, sixty one followers and forty likes, I dramatically, thank you for reading and liking what I post! No, really I do appreciate you…All of you, even the yesterday you or the day before, that you too.

Sounds strange doesn’t it? For me to write, bizarelly, about appreciating someone each day, as if they were a different person each day! However, does it not seem strange for people to act, speak, or share how well they know you, yet haven’t spoken to you in, lets say, five years. Or maybe five months, what about a lifetime, only know them according to a form of media!

I don’t know why this message is becoming so strong. However, judgement of others is one of those ‘biggies’ some of us, all deal with, at one time or another. For some reason someone needs to read this message.

Listen up! I don’t care who you are. If you are one of my family members, an enemy (hope I don’t have any or if anything, I hope they will forgive me), the pope, a famous artist, young, old, religous or not…it doesn’t matter ‘who’ you are;  You are a different person than who you were last year. And thank goodness for it! I would never want to return to a more niave me or a less lived me. That one who might have not thought before she spoke or acted. The one who was not as well seasoned. The one who thought so many trivial things were important like competition or winning.

If you are continuously being ‘reminded’ of who you once were and you don’t like it, then YOU, LET IT GO! Some how change gears! In your mind. If you are known as inconsiderate and pompous and do not like that astigma, begin to act and feel as though, a person who is considerate and humble. I am sure you have had someone in your life that exemplified those qualities. I know as I wrote the curriculum for Livelove (still writing, but so close!) I would think back about my heros. Not everyone else’s heros and not my mom, who is always the number one hero, for me. But Heros who were talked about or ‘judged’ in a powerful, yet, positive kind of way!

Think about it…Pause, who are you patterning off of? Everyone patterns off of someone!! The difference is some of us recognize, who we want to pattern off of and choose to study them, their lives, and how they are portrayed. Maybe, you are reading this and you are saying, “I am a Christian and my hero is Jesus.”

Which is perfectly fine with me! Because the more I study leaders, the more I see those who stand for love, protection, kindess and abundance, are the ones who withstand time. My simple question is why do you live with so much judgement? On yourself and others…Want to live like someone as great as Jesus? Better do some research, because his love for all of mankind and what he stands for is… NOT JUDGEMENT! NOPE, I HAVE LOOKED, ITS NOT IN THERE.

Wow! I have had a weird week! One post about politics, now this about religion, oh and don’t forget the other ‘hot topics’ about depression and dejavus! I am just the messenger. I promise my disclaimer will say, judge me not for the message I bring, but rather enjoy the blessings of reading and learning.

You are okay! You are amazing! Please let go of the judgement and the harsh judgements will let go of you! You do deserve to live to be happy.

God Bless!

Two weeks free of Happy Coaching go to website to email us and we will follow up!

One two buckle my shoe…

Three four shut the door, five six pick up sticks…you know the rest of the nursery rhyme. I know it sounds silly, but all my mind has let me do, for several days, is repeat nursery rhymes over and over. Jack be Nimble, Mary had a Little Lamb and so on. Why?

One reason, is my baby boy is off to college and I continually reflect back to the simple times of nursery rhymes. Each time I feel a little sad I think of another one, say it, then become a little relieved with a smile and a giggle. The cycle repeats itself each time we dig through an old box or give away some old action figures.

I am excited about the next adventures in our lives. I am estatic while watching Nicholas grow into a beautiful young man, who is following his heart. He has a plan and is sticking to it.

When I become teary eyed he wraps his big arms around me and says, Mom, I love you and it’s gonna be okay!”

I KNOW, I KNOW! I wouldn’t want to have children who weren’t thriving and following their bliss! I know I can’t fix up the house enough to entice them to stay with me and nor would I want that. However, at this moment at 6 AM, I feel like gathering them all up and saying,”Okay, change of plans! Today, we are all going to curl up on the couch and read Dr. Suess. Or hey let’s go to McDonald’s play land!”

Back to the nursery rhymes…Little Miss Muffett, Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall…yes, I know it’s a bit creepy. All I can say it is my brains way of coping with the ‘adulting.’ When I become fearful of the changes, I search for something from their childhood that is simple.

Aren’t these emotions normal? As I read my sister-n-law’s blog “When the kids grow up” or @Jennifer Reynolds Drake on Facebook, I feel comforted and realize, I am not alone. Her last paragraph (which I will share her post after I complete this writing) sums it up best: “And now we can settle in the fact that we’ve raised our kids to the best of our ability, we’ve entrusted them into His hands, and that the biggest growth comes from change.”

I realize change is inevitable. I am evolving to a level I have only dreamed of, in the past. Why now? Because for the past twenty six years I have been in my bliss being a mommy. And YES, Jenny, you are correct they still need me and will continue to call, I know that, but it is a little scary.

As for today, I am continuing to reflect on the funny memories and looking ahead to the next chapter. Most importantly I am enjoying each moment in the present! All we have is Right now! Take time to find your moment or nursery rhyme to bring you to a moment of sweetness and enjoy where you are right now.

One-two buckle my shoe, three-four shut the door, five- six pick up sticks, seven- eight lay them straight, Nine-ten let’s do it again, PLEASE!

God Bless!

I did it!!! I practiced what I preached!!!!

I know how you feel!!! When you curl up to read my blog, sometimes the emotions are overwhelming!! Because our innate nature is to be happy!! Therefore, when we are attempting to find those ‘feel good’ emotions, yet we are continuing to tell the same old stories; we stop the feel good vibrations. The spectacular events that are right there, outside of our bubble, don’t disappear, but rather they stay suspended outside of you, until you are ready to accept and receive.

Here is my example. Picture this: I do Physical therapy and mental, spiritual, and emotional healing/therapy EVERYDAY, in the pool. However, last week I found myself alone, in the pool at our apartment. Yes, I should have been ecstatic!!! However, I cried and cried. (You see I love myself, but I love to be with people a great deal too). Anyways, do not focus on the sad!

Living the life I lead today is amazing!!! Therefore, after last Thursday I decided to attend water aerobics at 930 this Thursday. I was so excited, I walked up and there were 5 women and two men over 65. Of course that didn’t bother me, but they were dying to know more!!! I could feel each of them watching me walk into the pool. One step then the next!! They all introduced themselves and ask questions. I felt extremely welcomed.

Ready? Here is the lesson or example…when they asked me about my life or why I was there, I said nothing about my leg. Ohhhh they wanted to know. (If they would have asked, I think I would have responded with, oh I was just privileged to have been given a second chance to live in a happy state, until my trip is over). I have no idea what I would have said, I can only tell you what happened.

I described how wonderful my children, family, friends, river farm and of course my amazing husband are. I continued by telling them how grateful I was to have met each of them and politely excused myself.

I could feel their eyes carefully watch as I crawled out of the swimming pool. I proudly walked off and smiled. As I approached the apartment, I began to laugh hysterically, to myself. I thought wow that was fun!!!

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy, at first. However, it has to be done. You see, everyone receives a great deal of attention if they have a story to tell, that others can sympathize or empathize with. But in return you will receive more of that energy. Start telling your good feeling story. It’s not lieing, it’s just changing focus. Becuase everyone has a good story and a bad story.

Even the lowest you can get if you begin right now, wandering thru the place you are and saying I am grateful for and keep saying it over and over. If you are homeless even then, you can begin to change your life. Try it. Practice it! I am grateful for YOU! READING THIS MESSAGE!

How do you introduce yourself? Hello I am ______. They respond with oh what do you do? Instead of telling them where you work (which doesn’t define you) say I live life to be happy. Then ask would you like to come along this journey? If they choose yes then hurray if not oh well life is good anyways!

Livelove

You are loved and worthy!

When you hear_____: Do you think______?

I remember studying psychology in my freshman year of college and being intrigued with the way the human mind thinks and functuons. I love its complexity yet simplicity almost appearing to be twins. Then I began to study fun topics like life, living, law of attraction and the brain, which I now know, has been one of my greatest competitors!

What? My brain is a competitor? Yes, when I began to practice happy thoughts and emotional attachments, I realized my brain was being a big bully! I know this seems a bit bizarre. However, keep following me and you too may need to do what Zig Ziglar says, “A check up from the neck up!”

Each time I would begin to look up, dream big, or advance, my brain would compare past incidents. For example: I would visualize about being a great motivational speaker, well known by all, as a ray of sunshine. (Similar to mother Teresa but much louder and out spoken.) Yet my brain would reflect and scramble for a memory to relate it to. Don’t get me wrong if I had a good memory of a business, that I was extremely successful at, then she would insert that feel good emotion or memory. However, because of my lack of positive background knowledge or past experiences that brought me wealth, my brain reflects on a negative experience. Why? To protect and serve me ( and you). In other words, if we are continuously trying to stay in a feel good vibration, enjoying life at its greatest lengths, then our brain will challenge any idea that might create us harm. Becoming our greatest competitors when changing our lives.

My messages have been loud and clear, lately. It is human nature to seek a happy, feel good vibration. Thrill seekers seek thrilling events, lovers seek out a partner to have fun with, drug users either seek out an escape, almost a thrill yet others use to fit in, because their brains do not function like everyone elses. No matter what; human nature is to live to be happy and have fun!!! Instead many of us are living against our feel good emotions; we are living against our life purpose. It’s time to evolve and find pure happiness.

How do you know what your life purpose is? I am not positive on the how, but I know that we are to live to be happy. We all choose the way we live. We choose our careers, activities, friends, our salary, and anything else related to our lives. Yes, we will experience difficult times, but we still choose how we react and how we feel.

If everytime you begin a conversation and the other person says something you connect with negatively. Try it again…and again until you find a feel good conversation. In other words your main objectives is to be happy and if your daily activities or conversations are not happy then change them. Yes all of them.

If everytime  you hear something you reflect on a negative connatation or situation or you pass judgement on someone because of how they were twenty five years ago, change it! This process may take a bit of effort. However, I promise it’s worth it!!! Life is meant to live, enjoy, laugh, and have fun. Feel the feel good emotion, feel your way to happiness. Will you have small moments of sadness? Yes, but once you have decided to live in a constant state of happiness, fun and joy, you will not ever want to continue in that state of yuk! Or aadness, negativity. You will quickly win over your competitor the brain and provide him/her with a new ‘feel good’ emotion!!

Livelove

God Loves You No Matter What!

Love you!!!!
