There is no greater or less than, when it comes to you…

As ‘life’ seems to happen around us, many people like to compare stories or talk about the issues. However, there is no comparisons between your story and theirs.

Of course we are all connected and as humans, we can all FEEL empathy or sympathy depending on our similar incidents.

But…everyone has moments of being depressed, sad, hurt, lost and disappointed. I can remember the day, my son explained that pointing out all the reasons someone should be grateful, isn’t always the best feeling emotion for someone suffering. I questioned why or why not, it always seemed to work for me. Highlighting all the reasons I should be grateful, how blessed I am and so on.

Nick explained how sometimes those comments are more detrimental to the person.

That was several years ago and to be completely honest, I didn’t truly understand.

Now, I do!

You see we ALL have moments where life feels overwhelming, too much and disappointing. Those who their stories, are well known and inspire others, but also you and me.

As I wrote and rewrote my speech for the area contest @Earlybirdstoastmasterskc, the days seemed to be zooming by. Closer and closer, my excitement was building and the anticipation of all the exciting opportunities, this club has to offer, was assisting me in working up the best message, I had ever written! Ohhh, if you could only feel my radiating excitement.

Yet, day by day in LA we had to jump one hurdle and then twenty five more or maybe a hundred more! (Okay I am being a bit over dramatic, as Ashby says).

But it is true. I could whine and cry about every little speed bump thrown in front of us, but where would we be then? Instead let me share what I have learned.

This week I had to let go of my first speech competition. It was to be on Monday February 5th. There were no guarantees I would move on to the next level, because our club has intense competition, but I wanted to attempt it, in the worst kind of way!

I had prepared and practiced the entire road trip from Kansas to LA.

As the hurdles popped up, some one at a time, others it seemed like fifty at a time, I began to realize my excitement was about to he turned into disappointment! With all the issues about having Princeton, I quickly realized my trip would be delayed, forcing me to step down from the competition.

Now this may seem silly to anyone else, but I cried and cried! I was disappointed, sad, overwhelmed and a little bit selfish. Most of all I was torn! This was my baby girl and very dear to me granddog. But I also wanted to attempt this competition!

Then my lessons began!!! Everytime I would express my disappointing emotions someone would share on Facebook or tell me about a horrific event. For example in the past month we have lost loved ones to accidents, cancer, flu and suicides. I would cry for them or add to my prayer list.

Yes, my silly little issues seemed trivial after all of that. I have so much to be grateful for, I know that.

Then I realized Nick was correct. Pointing out or minimizing our own disappointments, by comparison, is not fair, to you.

My epiphany was EVERYONE, experiences their own depression and disappointments. And YOURS is just as important as the next one. Because we are all on our own journey and life happens whether we are striving to improve or not.

And MAYBE, JUST MAYBE…this is a key to helping others choose to feel all the emotions, yet not give up.

The key is to allow yourself to feel the negative emotion. Express your feelings of disappointment. (Allow this moment). Do not worry about feeling trivial compared to other people’s issues. I am Not saying dwell on it and/or illuminate the situation, but rather, ALLOW yourself to have a moment of tears.

It is okay!!! There is no greater and less than, when it comes to you and how you feel. Maybe if we begin to allow kids and adults to say, “I feel like giving up.”

We will have less severely depressed or suicides. When I was having a moment of ‘selfish disappointments’ it felt good to allow the sadness, for a moment. It forced me to find solutions, it allowed me to be human, and it reminded me how quickly ANYONE can give up.

It is time we begin to allow our younger generations to know we have all been there. We have all had struggles and let it out. All of it! Say it if you feel it. It’s okay.

No matter how trivial it may be to others. Your disappointments, moments of sadness or maybe your losses are not comparable to others! You are allowed to say it because believe it or not… EVERYONE experiences negative emotions.

My greatest hope is…this post will help one person to choose life. If you are not feeling so well about something, say it! And quit worrying about comparing apples, arangatans, and kale spinach. This is YOUR EXPERIENCE! No one elses!

Happy Coaching 101 (Day five)

Last day of my sneak peek of Happy Coaching 101. Don’t forget to catch up and read Monday’s post about this service. It will be time for you to tell me how you think this service would be best utilized. Yes, I need your help on deciding several items in January of 2018. Therefore, if you find yourself feeling the need to comment, provide advice or just want to voice your opinion, Livelove is giving you that opportunity!

Today’s posting is very dear to my heart. This middle age man has battled with drugs, is not allowed to see his family and has been on a multitude of ย street and prescription drugs, longer than not. I provided this service for free, for him. I will honestly say, his messages are some of my favorites.

Message:

It’s time to come out and be the person you are to be! It’s time for you to shine like a brand new coin and give back to society, what you were meant to bring. Your kids need their daddy, the one who adores and cherishes them. A man! A man to be looked up to, who is honest and cares for himself as well as others. You are now to be grateful for your own family who has upheld you, bailed you out numersous times and cried themselves to sleep when you were locked up because they miss and love you.

I am jumping up and down in excitement to watch you grow and evolve to the man you know you already are! You are loved no matter what, unconditionally! Just remember you are also creating a pattern for your children to follow, where do you want them to go? Down your present road or a happier one? You choose.

God Bless

Trust Yourself…

I am sooo excited to write for you today! I have curled up in the corner of Momma Teena’s Writing Palace, it is super peaceful, quiet and inspiring (at least most of time it is inspiring, sometimes it is so amazing, I stay in a meditative state for a little longer than normal LOL). ย Since the conception of Livelove, I have been Happy Coaching a wide variety of people and it has provided me with a multitude of unique perspectives.

One of the ‘messages’ that comes through on a regular basis is, “Trust Yourself!”

When asked, “Do you trust yourself?”

Many respond with a big, ‘N..O!’

To be quite honest this was disturbing to me. I questioned myself over and over again. “Teena, do you trust yourself?”

I truly thought I did! And for the majority of the time I am proud to say, “I trust myself.”

I may not always be perfect, but I know that if, I practice what I preach, trusting one self is a fantastic key factor to being happy- which includes plentiful of all you want.

Let me ask you…are you over weight? over stressed? too pooped to pop? Not feeling fullfilled on a daily basis?

If you were standing in front of me right now, (pause with anticipation) I would…SING to the top of my lungs, to you, “Let it Go! Let it Go! Let IT GOOOOOOOOO!”

You would probably, begin to see me open my mouth, take a huge inhale and just as I belted it out, YOU would RUN!

Therefore, be thankful, I choose to blog this portion, so you can be spared from my loud, off key, inspirational reindition of one my favorite Disney Songs.

However, it is true! Trusting yourself is a key factor to living the life you always wanted! You know–some of you have always battled weight, depression, anxiety, tierdness, financial status, relationships, disease, loss and the list could go on 7 on. Yes, I realize life can be a pain in the butt!

However, PLEASE trust me. Trusting yourself (you are trustworthy), is important.

Let me give you some fun and a quite funny experience to provide you with a clear perspective.

Over the past year, Eric and I had quite a few BIG CHANGES. One of them was he quit smoking (I never thought I would write that, but he did). We moved to a simplier lifestyle and well, to be hilariously honest, we became a bit sedentary. LOL. While in Hawaii we would giggle and tease each other about being a part of the rolly polly team. Yes, we had found ourselves in a bit of a predicament. Not bad, actually it is terrific! But we both like to be in decent shape and so we began to research some weightloss and workout programs. We have laughed and laughed at some of the scams we have come across. Eat this everyday, until it comes out of your nose and then you will do it!

Okay! It was time for us to begin to, ‘trust ourselves.’ We came up with a plan and are tweeking it to fit our needs. I have combined my many years of research, from Scarsdale Diet to Protein Power and now to trusting my brain. Not in punishement style, but rather in happy style.

When you are driving through and grabbing a snack do you ever stop and think, “Am I going to ENJOY this food? Is it going to be fantabulous going down?”

Whatever, it takes for you to TRUST YOURSELF. Not just about weight. Take time to pause in all situations and listen to your natural instinct. Does it feel terrific? Does it feel right, to you? If you have a question or concern, then do some more investigating. If not, then go for it!

God Bless EVERYONE!

You are trustworthy, therefore allow yourself to trust you!

Last day of 2017?

It’s that time of year to reflect, plan, and carry on. As I look back over this past year, I feel like the past 365 days have been 365 years. Have you ever had a year like that?

The first four months I focused on moment by moment and one step, literally, at a time. The next few months were filled with Senior Spring Break, graduation and more transformations.

Although this year has seemed long in some ways, it’s difficult to believe it is over. And yet, it is the last official day of 2017.

What do you do with special days like today? Hopefully, you take time to write all your past accomplishments, this year. Check off the accomplished goals and set some new journeys/goals for 2018.

When you focus on all the ‘good’ you have in your life, it illuminates you and lifts you up, to be in line for more good.

One of my favorite rituals is to scan through ALL of my pictures for the year. On my phone, Facebook or anywhere else I can find ‘snap shots’ of the year.

The most important action you can take today, is being grateful. Yes, as you review over the past, there will be some irritating conversations or events, but if you will tilt your head a different direction, a new perspective will appear.

In other words life isn’t meant to be perfect. However, those imperfections are what assist us in enjoying the Awesomeness of Living! So yes, skim over the low frequency times, remember them (for now), to learn, but don’t try to fix anything from then. IT CAN’T BE FIXED OR CHANGED.

When you stumble across an event that really hurts or bothers you, remind yourself, “I can not change the past. Therefore, I am only going to focus on today and my future.”

Listen up!! If you find yourself down and out…Pause, hold tight this too will pass. I promise, even if it hurts really bad today, tomorrow will be brighter. Look for the good in all situations.

God Bless!

Depressed? Don’t know why?

First, let me apologize for yesterday’s odd post about politics! I normally do not talk about that because, to be honest, it isn’t a ‘good feeling’ conversation. I realize sometimes those discussions must happen, but do not worry it won’t be a hot topic on this blog, unless it is advice, that all of us can use ๐Ÿ˜„.

Ever have those days that you wake up and BAM!! It hits you like a ton of bricks! That sick feeling of (inhale then exhale) depression! Life could be just terrific, but to you it would be much simpler to return to bed, curl up under the covers, close your eyes and forget anything ever existed.

Congratulations! You are human!!! Did you know the most famous of famous and rich of rich, have all felt this way, at one time or another.

As I watched, listened and rewound to hear again the stories of the past 75 years of the Golden Globes, last night, I realized something. Everyone on this Earth has those days. As the cinematography experts, plugged in the ‘wrap it up’ segment of the show, I watched as many exclaimed how hard they persevered to come to this point and they weren’t stopping until they were done!

You know what? That’s why they were there, receiving that award! Because they didn’t say, “How? Or I am not good enough.”

Instead they said, “What and I am good enough, I am BETTER than good enough!”

I will admit I cried through the entire show, reflecting on the monumental times. The times when groups of entertainers, utilized their talents to make the world a brighter place.

Funny thing is, I woke up feeling a little depressed today. As I meditated, prayed and began again, the naggy feeling wouldn’t go away. So I explored why?

Skip this next paragraph if you have NOT been diagnosed clinically depressed…

(Before I explain any further, this is my disclaimer…If you have been diagnosed clinically depressed and have a prescription, continue working with your doctor and CONTINUE to take your meds! I know you immediatly want to argue with me because you hate taking meds, but trust me I know what I am talking about. It is okay you can still enjoy this journey and learn from my writings, classes and or celebrations and YES, I hope someday your doctor says, “You are completely healed” However, until then please continue your regimen. I have some new ones with my leg that ,grrrr, sometimes irritate me too, but it is for my healing, so I continue!)

Why would anyone, with all that I have and how blessed I am, ever be depressed? I asked myself. I have felt down times when something energy shattering has happened. That is a normal sadness…losing a loved one, focusing on lack of, feeling inadequate, you know, the normal sadness or depressed emotions throughout life.

So WHY do we, who have everything and are enjoying life, to its fullest, have these times, where you just want to go back to bed?

Of course, I had to look up the definition of depression…

Is it just me or do both of those definitions combine together to mean…Less Than?

Wow! Yes, depression means less than. Which makes a great deal of sense, even clinically diagnosed, have less than or too much of something which is to the extreme, creating an emotion of ‘less than.’

Hmmmm, could it be a depressed emotional state is as simple as allowing the mind to remember what you have lacked and how less than you are now.

This becomes more and more intriguing to me. If I woke up a bit depressed today, enough to say, “I just don’t feel good today.”

What ‘lack’ am I focused on? I am improving daily, have very few true worries, my family is wonderful and becoming more and more extraordinary by the day.

I figured mine out! Have you figured out yours?

At first I was planning on sharing my ‘conclusion’ as to why in the world I would be depressed! However, I am allowing you to have your own reason. This allows you to NOT have my experience to compare to. Whether your reason is a better reason or not. Because, pssst…your reason is good enough!

Whatever, it is you feel less than about, right now, I want you to go to a mirror and say, “I love you! You are enough and I love you, I love you, I love you! Go ahead! If you are at a crappy job, with a mean and degrading partner, or you are beating yourself up…it doesn’t matter at this moment, excuse yourself, for a minute and say to you, “I love you and I accept you!”

It works! It resets, the ‘lack’ that is deep rooted in your subconscious, to enough and acceptance.

Depressed? Don’t know why? Now you know why. Not saying a little down time, every now and again, isn’t necessary because it most definetly is! However, the sooner you can stop those emotions the better! So begin today…I love myself, I accept and appreciate me! Over and over.

When and if someone is degrading you begin to hum hum hum ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต I love and accept myself!!! La di da…I appreciate me ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต.

Allow the beautiful words to be what you hear rather than the vomit, coming out of theirs. If you are beating yourself up because of lack, STOP.

You nor anyone else can change what has been. No one! Now decide, can I proceed in this environment, reliving the past or accusing myself of lack, for the rest of my life? Psssst, I will tell you a secret, If you want to be happy you must focus on abundance and leave the ‘lack of’ in the past!

So am I still depressed? No, just grateful for the emotion to explore and share!

(This is where we want to do a Seminar on Happiness, next year, let me know what you think?)

Listen…๐Ÿ‘‚you are capable of abundance in life…love, financial and spiritual! You do deserve the best for you and in turn your best will be the best for everyone.

God Bless

My greatest hope…is if you are struggling with depression, you will search for where you feel less than and begin to accept you can’t change the past, so look ahead look up and feel abundant.

Change is inevitable; Self Doubt is a reminder

As we all know change occurs second by second, whether you control the change or simply allow it, now that ‘changes’ EVERYTHING! However, what about self-doubt? What part of self-doubt can assist us in dealing with or controlling the change in our lives?

Could it be that self-doubt is a reminder that you can control how the, inevitable changes, occur in your life.

If we know changes are going to happen, we know everything in our lives, is not going to stick to the plan, why not utilize those ‘not so good’ self doubting, moments to empower you?

How? Simple, recognize that self- doubt is that friend that forces you to think about the worse case scenario. No, I am not an advocate for ‘what ifs’ however, what if, this doubt serves a vital purpose in accomplishing great things or taking the simpler, more paved road and enjoying the ride.

Either or the opportunity to recognize this moment of wallowing in what has been or could be, can be (if you choose) a great asset to your ‘happiness’ tool box.

Next time you experience that moment of OMG! What am I doing? How will I find my path? I can’t do this, I am not good enough! Moments, choose a time to let it go.

For example: You are stepping out on a limb, the limb feels wobbly and you are contemplating what can, will or might happen. You would weigh all the outcomes/options and either set a limit of how far you can go or keep walking and see what happens. Either or you will have change. You will have an outcome. You also chose all of those outcomes!

Set a time frame to poop or get off the pot. If you want to control or learn to enjoy all changes, when self-doubt appears, allow it for a set time or space.

Next, be grateful for the opportunity to weigh all options and MOVE ON. Allow the short-lived negative emotion to propel you into the wonderful, terrific, fabulous life you have always wanted.

I am so excited for us! As I am allowing my life to be utilized as a messenger. A messenger for you and I to live for the best in and of you & me.

I know life has hit you upside the head several times! I know when just arriving in the valley, you struggle with seeing a way to begin climbing to the top, again.

This change has been since the day you were born. When you took that first breath you began adjusting with the changes in environment, how you ate and how you slept.

You have what it takes to live the life you have always wanted. It’s up to you, how long you allow the changes to hit you, like a ton of bricks. Or how you utilize self-doubt. Either or you will have change, you will experience down & out times and only you can decide how to allow self doubt to assist you or hender you.

The Lopsided Cake…

I could have never been a baker because they would have to throw a delicious lopsided cake away, based on principal. However, the truth is I am enjoying serving more and more lopsided, imperfect, delicious, ooey, gooey, cakes. It may seem odd for me to create this comparison to life, but if you stop and think about it, maybe you will see.

In the past I would become so upset over the smallest things. Oh my if someone didn’t like me or worst yet, thought bad of me! I mean someone told me the other day they didn’t appreciate or agree with one of my blogs. I batted my eyes, truly listened to their concern and apologized. No, I wasn’t angry, hurt or frustrated! I kind of understood where they were coming from. (I will come back to this conversation later in the post).

No, I have never been a baker and I am pretty sure most of my cakes have always been losided, similar to a volcano drooping down on one side, unevenly. However, in other ways I was a perfectionist! I expected everything to be perfect. Actually that’s not quite true, I expected, for everyone else, to have expectations, of me, to be perfect! That makes so much more sense, to me.

You see Ms. Debbie’s words of wisdom rings, throughout my head, when someone misunderstands something I have written or stated, “Teena, you need to finish that thought; not everyone knows you well enough to follow the many thoughts rolling through your head. That means you could be easily misunderstood.”

It is true. My thoughts are swirling by the millions and when I become excited or extremely emitting energy in one way or another, the outcome of my words are not always self explainatory!

Back to the point! In the past I always thought I had to be perfect. Although it is unrealisitic nor possible, I placed those restraints on myself. I always wished I could blame this on someone else, but I can’t. It isn’t because of the expectations my mother had, husband or children. Not what the school system placed on me nor the parents or students. It was me! I lived in a perfect world and if anyone messed it up, I would almost fall apart just like a baker would if he/she had to serve one of my slippery sloping cakes.

However, now I just don’t have it in me. Not really that I have slowed down or my thoughts have become less and less. That is far from the truth! I rarely have any particular expectations anymore. I feel myself evolving to one of the richest parts of my life, yet. It is amazing! The feeling of butterflies fluttering in my stomach, when I know Eric is on his way home. The excitement that overwhelmes me when I get to see all my children, family and friends. I am truly grateful and blessed.

I can remember (which I will only remember this for a moment then I am letting it go forever) coming home and being filled with anxiety, stress and aggitation. I worried about how everyone, I do mean everyone in my life chidren, husband, mom, dad, grandma, teachers, peers, students, principals…I worried about! I can’t tell you how many tears I have shed over someone being ‘mad at me.’ If you have ever felt this way or continue to live this way, read on I am about to spill the beans of how it is ‘fake news.’

Come in closer, get real quiet while reading this…IT IS NOT IMPORTANT! Yes, you heard it here first! Perfectionism is not important nor will it add to your life. It is true. Being ‘Perfect’ is ‘Fake News.’ I have meditated this entire year, almost everyday, to gather information or muddle through some theories, so I could share with you! Guess what? I have even tried to Remember why I hated someone (never really experienced HATRED, nor do I want to, so let’s call it disliked their actions). Could remember very little. Almost like when you soak an aspirin to give to an elderly, attempting to swallow. The memory still had a little substance, but not enough to recognize what it was and the end result was no more pain or suffereing from that situation! Wow!!!! In other words, “This too will pass.”

Yes, some memories carry a powerful impact both negative or positive, but the strongest impact is how you felt and how you feel. Instead of struggling or wrestling with the past, go bake a cake! Make it lopsided, oozing with melted icing and enjoy the laughter about your blunders.

It is time to come out of the closet, perfectionist. You are worthy of being terrific without being perfect. Just do it! Drop your rules and regulations for yourself and let us see the beautiful YOU! The VIBRANT YOU! It makes me so excited, I just want to break into song! You know a random song that says, “You are wonderful, be happy, enjoy, mess up and laugh along the way!!!”

Hmmmm I might have something!

Back to the blog posting that might have not been a complete or self explanatory concept, I admit I have imperfections! Thank you for noticing and better yet thanks for reading my blog! As always I hope you are inspired and motivated to live a Happy Life!

God Bless

Had to use this picture because all the lopsided cakes I look up were, what? PERFECT!!! Go ahead and try it, type in Google search, ‘Lopsided Cakes’ grrrrrr they were adorable!!!! Lol oh well be happy!

Shutup, I am tired of hearing it!

Do you ever get tired of hearing that small nasty voice in your head? You know the one that reminds you of all your past situations or your paradigm?

If you wake up with thoughts that are not uplifting, exciting, good for you and emcouraging, GO BACK TO BED AND FIND THEM.

Similar to this Seal, who is sun bathing. It appears he is dead, but instead he is taking a break without a care in the world!

I realize life is busy and you are probably in a rush however, if you will take the first few minutes of everyday to tell yourself nice and inspiring words you will be surprised how amazing life can and will be.

In other words if you hear nasty statements about you from you say, “SHUTUP! I AM TIRED OF HEARING IT!!!!”

Throw up a red light and STOP!

If going back to bed is not an option then stop rushing around and spewing hateful words out of your mouth about everyone, everything and especially yourself! Look in the mirror and say, “Damn you are good looking and I love you!”

(Listen up, I know saying stuff to yourself may feel awkward at first, but just think, the more you practice the better you will be at it).

Stop! Stop, doubting the power of your words. They do hurt you and although your subconscious is only trying to protect you from past events, coming back and repeating the pain, let it GOOOOOO!!!

Did you know, until we conquer time travel, you nor anyone else can repeat an exact event or correct anything in the past? However, you can enjoy the now, enjoy yourself, love yourself and share the love you found in you, with others.

We can create a brighter world together! We can enjoy the now! Begin with you, tell your subconscious to shutup and begin right now, by saying one nice thing to yourself! You deserve it!

As I sit and weep…

As I sit and weep like a mother holding her sweet infant for the first time, I realize it is not because I am sad! In fact my tears that have melted the makeup off of my face, are out of pure happiness, joy, bliss and amazement!

Today, was my first photo shoot since BK! (Before Kids). It wasn’t fancy or for a glamorous modeling gig. However, I knew it had to be done.

I had tried to take some selfies, that was a disaster! So I did it.

You may still be wondering why I am crying. It surely was not because I had to have a photo shoot for my business/webpage.

Noo not at all! I am just grateful to be alive. I love this life and today as we scanned through the pictures, I laughed outloud! The photographer said, “You look beautiful! When you talk about your company, you glow! Then you smile and it becomes contagious.”

My thoughts were,”OMG I have so many things I could point out about this picture and they are not oh wow how amazing you look!”

Next, I came home began working on some loose ends, to ensure we are on target to begin advertising. Then I plopped down to take a glimpse of my photos. (You probably already know, but everything is electronic now. I wonder when pictures are going to become so digital/HD, they show when someone is letting off a big ole flatulent!)

What happened next was astonishing, to say the least. I opened up the first special she did, with Livelove underneath of me and I began to cry. First one tear, then another until it was a stream pouring down my face.

Why? You ask. To be honest…because I am ALIVE! I am alive I can feel pain, emotions, tears pouring down my face. Yes, I continue to struggle with criticizing myself, but I think that is an on going practice to improve our self image. It takes skill and stubbornness to argue with yourself. It also takes baby steps to achieve a complete understanding of just how special our lives are! I am in awe of life and living. I feel grateful for all the beautiful people that have been flowing into my life. Teaching, supporting, comforting and loving me. Who are you or what are you grateful for, right now? Feel how incredible it feels to remember those people, places or events that you feel grateful for! Doesn’t the very thought of it bring you relief and a sense of aweeeee?

Live for today, tomorrow may never come. As my grandma always said, “That is a dumb statement because tomorrow never comes, it’s always today.”

Once again if you are in a valley, right now. Hold on, breathe easy, look up the best is yet to come. This moment will pass, choose for the next moment to get a little better, easier to handle, easier to believe in living again.

Sad moments will pass too

As moments or fun times come to an end everyone feels a little bit of a let down. At least I do. After vacation I always have a few moments of- I want to return to no stress, dancing and relaxing. However, I have learned that the closing of one chapter, means an opening to a brand new chapter.

New adventures, new destinations, fun times and the creation of new memories!

I sometimes feel like a broken record when I write over and over again. However, my statements are true. If you will wait just a few moments, this too will pass. When you are sad, take time to ask yourself, “Why am I sad?”

Next, allow yourself to be just that, sad. Not to a level of depression, where all you focus on is the sad state of mind you are in, but rather just a little cry, maybe a snack and a popcorn night. The point is allow yourself to feel the emotional attachment to whatever you are feeling down about.

Buttttttt.. set a time for when you are going to be over it. For example: When my daughter, son and Mark left today, I will admit I cried and felt a little lost for a moment. I have just felt a little bla all day. However, tomorrow morning is a new day!

I have set my time to begin a new day tomorrow. I found something to be excited about. In one week we will be heading to Nashville for a bash for Ashby’s 21. My website is in ffw because Rhian is amazing and many other events are evolving.

Could I continue to be sad and think of what is? Absolutely! I could take this small emotion and let it carry over into multiple days and even weeks or months.

Why? Why would I do that? Why? Why would you do that? I am sure some of you reading this could provide me with a long list of whys, how’s, shoulds, could and woulds.

Please read this carefully! It’s okay how long you choose to grieve, be depressed and focus in what is! However, it’s your responsibility to understand the entire world will not stop for a long time to help you pull yourself back together.

As one of my dear friends, who has buried two of their children, explained, “When you suffer a loss so great, which any loss is great, it’s only you who can decide what to do with your life. If I wanted to remember theirs deaths I would/could. But I chose to focus on their lives and create a life surrounded around doing good for others, in their names.”

Life is short. We all have, days and moments where we feel irritable, angry or simply sad. As Jack Cannefield explains, “Event + Reaction = Outcome.”

Please, as our country appears to have so many negatives and the world seems to have taken a nightmare pill, I beg of you to find the good in all situations and focus your energy on just that. Yes, there is always a time for everything! A time to mourn, a time to laugh, a time to pray and a time for cry. But if you want to be part of the solution and not yet another meaningless contribution to more fear being instilled in us, then begin today! Find the happiness in your heart, in your home, in your world! There is goodness all around you, how? Take time to focus in on the good in all situations. Listen to what you speak, does it illuminate the ‘bad’? Does it provide goodness to anyone? Does it create a happy feeling in your soul? If your last two answers were no, please take this message and utilize it.

Not trying to sound preachy or even demanding, I simply want you to understand how much you really do make a difference. You choose is your impact or legacy involving a positive and happy change in your life as well as those around you? If yes, then hooray, keep up the good vibrations. If not, then if not now? When? You choose!

If you are struggling with anything right now, I want you to know I just sent you a great amount of ‘Happy energy’ , it may feel a bit strange at first, but take the feeling and enjoy! That energy was attached yo this reading, just for you. Feel the cool breeze, feel the refreshing thoughts of feeling terrific. Smile really big and now accept your gift!

The song Ooooooo child things are gonna get easier… continues to play in my head as I read, edit and reread this post. It’s true hang on just a little longer it’s going to get better!!!

God Bless!
