This next message I am sharing with you is for one of the sweetest young ladies I know. She is an inspiration to me on a daily basis!
As I was meditating, I continued to ask for much needed personal guidance. Because the past few days I felt a bit sad and stuck. My fears (false evidence appearing real, Jack Cannefiled) continued to show up. I was worried about money, my business, my goals and dreams.
The more I focused on my own issues, the more this sweet little message for Ashley, persisted! I finally gave up! “Okay, what does Ashley need to hear?” I asked in an irritable manner.
Once I wrote it down, tears filled my eyes. One by one streamed down my face, as I read word for word.
I told her I was sending it on, but I read it one more time. And Poof, out of no where, I received my own messages! They were amazing.
One of my messages: Sometimes, the road ahead appears to be difficult. Therfore, take one step at a time. Then if you slip a little off the path, you will have the strength to carry on with the other foot.
So even when you dont feel up for the challenges, life throws at you, it’s okay! Take time to be still, inhale/exhale and listen. You have the answers at your finger tips, you only need to allow yourself to receive them.
Ashley’s message, sent with love…
If you don’t feel stuck how will you celebrate or know what freedom feels like?
If you don’t feel a little hopeless, how will you know how it feels to be filled with hope?
I am with you and guiding you!
It is okay to feel down, it is all a part of the process. However, the best part is when in the valley (or the trough of a frequency) the next wave is up, up ,up so allow the frequency to move you.
Your next portion is going to move into your life so swiftly and peacefully, it will feel like a swift, warm, refreshing breeze zooming up to the crest or top of the wave! Ride high my dear friend and enjoy.
You have asked and now you shall receive!

First, let me apologize for yesterday’s odd post about politics! I normally do not talk about that because, to be honest, it isn’t a ‘good feeling’ conversation. I realize sometimes those discussions must happen, but do not worry it won’t be a hot topic on this blog, unless it is advice, that all of us can use 😄.
Ever have those days that you wake up and BAM!! It hits you like a ton of bricks! That sick feeling of (inhale then exhale) depression! Life could be just terrific, but to you it would be much simpler to return to bed, curl up under the covers, close your eyes and forget anything ever existed.
Congratulations! You are human!!! Did you know the most famous of famous and rich of rich, have all felt this way, at one time or another.
As I watched, listened and rewound to hear again the stories of the past 75 years of the Golden Globes, last night, I realized something. Everyone on this Earth has those days. As the cinematography experts, plugged in the ‘wrap it up’ segment of the show, I watched as many exclaimed how hard they persevered to come to this point and they weren’t stopping until they were done!
You know what? That’s why they were there, receiving that award! Because they didn’t say, “How? Or I am not good enough.”
Instead they said, “What and I am good enough, I am BETTER than good enough!”
I will admit I cried through the entire show, reflecting on the monumental times. The times when groups of entertainers, utilized their talents to make the world a brighter place.
Funny thing is, I woke up feeling a little depressed today. As I meditated, prayed and began again, the naggy feeling wouldn’t go away. So I explored why?
Skip this next paragraph if you have NOT been diagnosed clinically depressed…
(Before I explain any further, this is my disclaimer…If you have been diagnosed clinically depressed and have a prescription, continue working with your doctor and CONTINUE to take your meds! I know you immediatly want to argue with me because you hate taking meds, but trust me I know what I am talking about. It is okay you can still enjoy this journey and learn from my writings, classes and or celebrations and YES, I hope someday your doctor says, “You are completely healed” However, until then please continue your regimen. I have some new ones with my leg that ,grrrr, sometimes irritate me too, but it is for my healing, so I continue!)
Why would anyone, with all that I have and how blessed I am, ever be depressed? I asked myself. I have felt down times when something energy shattering has happened. That is a normal sadness…losing a loved one, focusing on lack of, feeling inadequate, you know, the normal sadness or depressed emotions throughout life.
So WHY do we, who have everything and are enjoying life, to its fullest, have these times, where you just want to go back to bed?
Of course, I had to look up the definition of depression…
Is it just me or do both of those definitions combine together to mean…Less Than?
Wow! Yes, depression means less than. Which makes a great deal of sense, even clinically diagnosed, have less than or too much of something which is to the extreme, creating an emotion of ‘less than.’
Hmmmm, could it be a depressed emotional state is as simple as allowing the mind to remember what you have lacked and how less than you are now.
This becomes more and more intriguing to me. If I woke up a bit depressed today, enough to say, “I just don’t feel good today.”
What ‘lack’ am I focused on? I am improving daily, have very few true worries, my family is wonderful and becoming more and more extraordinary by the day.
I figured mine out! Have you figured out yours?
At first I was planning on sharing my ‘conclusion’ as to why in the world I would be depressed! However, I am allowing you to have your own reason. This allows you to NOT have my experience to compare to. Whether your reason is a better reason or not. Because, pssst…your reason is good enough!
Whatever, it is you feel less than about, right now, I want you to go to a mirror and say, “I love you! You are enough and I love you, I love you, I love you! Go ahead! If you are at a crappy job, with a mean and degrading partner, or you are beating yourself up…it doesn’t matter at this moment, excuse yourself, for a minute and say to you, “I love you and I accept you!”
It works! It resets, the ‘lack’ that is deep rooted in your subconscious, to enough and acceptance.
Depressed? Don’t know why? Now you know why. Not saying a little down time, every now and again, isn’t necessary because it most definetly is! However, the sooner you can stop those emotions the better! So begin today…I love myself, I accept and appreciate me! Over and over.
When and if someone is degrading you begin to hum hum hum 🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵 I love and accept myself!!! La di da…I appreciate me 🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵.
Allow the beautiful words to be what you hear rather than the vomit, coming out of theirs. If you are beating yourself up because of lack, STOP.
You nor anyone else can change what has been. No one! Now decide, can I proceed in this environment, reliving the past or accusing myself of lack, for the rest of my life? Psssst, I will tell you a secret, If you want to be happy you must focus on abundance and leave the ‘lack of’ in the past!
So am I still depressed? No, just grateful for the emotion to explore and share!
(This is where we want to do a Seminar on Happiness, next year, let me know what you think?)
Listen…👂you are capable of abundance in life…love, financial and spiritual! You do deserve the best for you and in turn your best will be the best for everyone.
My greatest hope…is if you are struggling with depression, you will search for where you feel less than and begin to accept you can’t change the past, so look ahead look up and feel abundant.
Do you ever get tired of hearing that small nasty voice in your head? You know the one that reminds you of all your past situations or your paradigm?
If you wake up with thoughts that are not uplifting, exciting, good for you and emcouraging, GO BACK TO BED AND FIND THEM.
Similar to this Seal, who is sun bathing. It appears he is dead, but instead he is taking a break without a care in the world!
I realize life is busy and you are probably in a rush however, if you will take the first few minutes of everyday to tell yourself nice and inspiring words you will be surprised how amazing life can and will be.
In other words if you hear nasty statements about you from you say, “SHUTUP! I AM TIRED OF HEARING IT!!!!”
Throw up a red light and STOP!
If going back to bed is not an option then stop rushing around and spewing hateful words out of your mouth about everyone, everything and especially yourself! Look in the mirror and say, “Damn you are good looking and I love you!”
(Listen up, I know saying stuff to yourself may feel awkward at first, but just think, the more you practice the better you will be at it).
Stop! Stop, doubting the power of your words. They do hurt you and although your subconscious is only trying to protect you from past events, coming back and repeating the pain, let it GOOOOOO!!!
Did you know, until we conquer time travel, you nor anyone else can repeat an exact event or correct anything in the past? However, you can enjoy the now, enjoy yourself, love yourself and share the love you found in you, with others.
We can create a brighter world together! We can enjoy the now! Begin with you, tell your subconscious to shutup and begin right now, by saying one nice thing to yourself! You deserve it!

When I first heard that statement it was from one of my precious students. Her life, in my eyes, was terrible! She had been in and out of Foster homes, only to end up with family, who were fighting over her and her brother.
I can hear our conversation as clear as if it happened, five minutes ago. We spent several afternoons talking, Sometimes I think she skipped going on field trips because if I wasn’t going she knew we would paint or do some kind a fun lab, where she could research on the computer. Most of the time she would end up coming back to my desk and tell me stories of her horrific past. But never in a devastion manner. It was always the good in almost every situations.
The day she stopped and said, “Mrs. Drake, everyone does what they want to do, they know the possible outcomes and choose what’s best for them.
This was a wrap up from her telling me why she was taken from one of the Foster homes.
As I sat down, tears fell from eyes like a river overflowing, out of her banks. I remember reflecting back through some of her stories.
For example, I asked her, “Why she didn’t tell someone?”
Her response was sharp and she giggled through it which made it a bit comical, she said, “Mrs. Drake when you get a whoopin everytime you opened your mouth, wouldn’t you learn to keep your mouth shut?”
Once again, “We all do what we want to do!”
Good or bad, she was correct. To avoid a whoopin or to avoid a conflict we will always do what we want to do, BUTT! What about in everyday life? Does that statement still apply?
Of course it does! We go to the same old job and hate life creating misery all around us, yet we all do what we want to do! For our good or not so good, we do choose. If you began on a path a long time ago and it abruptly came to an end what would you do you would choose…choose what?
Idk but it will be your choice! And either way if you choose to always see the positive and best, like my friend, your life will continue to improve each day.
If you are in a valley right now, look up. Don’t look down in shame, look up the worst is behind you! You did what you wanted to do! Now you are here and if you will Look Up, you will come out of the valley with great force!
Sometimes life requires us to read signals. It is essential in developing relationships as well as recreating them. Listen to their body language, hear their sighs, I will say it again and again…Life is meant to be lived happy and your spirit will adjust and readjust to find your happy path or rainbow. Whatever it is that ‘makes’ you happy will appear and reappear almost like a hot fudge sundae or a camel ice cream.
I always think of this metaphor, I think that is what you will call it, but whatever it is, you let me know.
A grandmother’s love is an almighty powerful love like none other. If someone was harming your grandchild you would go through great lengths, climb the highest mountains and swim the widest rivers to protect them.
Now think of your spirit, it searches for joy, feeling good, laughter and ‘happiness.’ When the journey isn’t pleasing to you depression, anxiety and sadness comes along to guide you back to a feeling good journey.
It really is the secret to life. It is to feel good and have fun. Be happy and Livelove.
First, if you recently followed my blog or if you have always followed I want to say THANK YOU! If you are reading for the first time, this blog is a little catch up on who I am, where I am going and how grateful I am for where I have been.
Recently, I began a journey and decided to share it with you by blogging, here on my blog. My journey has been magnificent with ups, downs and all arounds, thus far. I wake up each morning excited about what the universe has to offer today. I smile, run to the mirror say, GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY IT IS TO ENJOY THIS JOURNEY. I AM READY AND EXCITED ABOUT MY JOURNEY TODAY!!!!!!!!
Okay, to be honest, I don’t jump up and scream that every morning (but after reading it, I might try it because it feels really good) nor do I wake up in a perfect mood everyday. However, I do wake up every morning anticipating what is going to be Terrific in my day. I also will admit I have a few rituals of ‘Pump Me Up’ that I perform. Sometimes it is lay there until I catch the beautiful vision I want or I will talk to myself in the mirror for a brief moment. The most important part, you understand, is my journey is to live in a vibration of feeling happy the majority of the time. The most exciting part of this journey is I am sharing it with you!
Here is what we needed to clear up! I did have a life changing experience that reminded me of who I am. I have felt some (in my opinion very little) despair over this experience. The truth is me shattering my leg, laying in a ditch, and seven months later still trying to heal changed my life, by reminding me of my life purpose. You see I have had very few catastrophes in my life. I have suffered the loss of loved ones, but always felt the love I had for them will always keep them alive. I am sure my mother and father would tell you otherwise, but according to me my life was perfect from day one! I mean my mother didn’t name me for a couple of days and when she did come up with a name it was- Teena (unique spelling) and Gay for the middle!! What? Yes, I am telling you the only thing my accident did for me, which I am super grateful for, was to remind me of my life purpose. I was born to spread, be and teach others to be happy. To find their bliss.
That may sound crazy, but it’s true. I can’t tell you, of anytime in my life, that I havent found something good or positive out of a situation. Not one. Therefore, if I write about despair, depression, loss please note I am in no way shape or form comparing my measly little issues with some of your horrific situations. Lately, I have read some blogs that I feel so sorry for some people. That is why I felt like you needed to know I understand everyone has issues in their life. The best I can do is offer you new tools to assist you in enjoying your time here on earth; because they are my gifts I am sharing with you.
I am grateful for my life. I have lived a life most could only dream of. I had a strong circle of love from my family from parents to aunts/uncles, grandparents, step-parents, friends the list and circle becomes larger all the time. I married my best friend, have four beautiful children, and much more. Who am I? I don’t know, but I do know what I love and what creates a feeling of overwhelming happiness. I also know my ‘job’ ‘mission’ ‘life purpose’ ‘whatever’ you want to call it…it is to ‘be happy’ and teach you how to ‘be happy.’ Remember, what makes me happy doesn’t necessarily make you happy, but you will know when you FEEL IT!
