Happy Coaching 101 continues, even when I don’t feel inspirational…thank goodness!

This next message I am sharing with you is for one of the sweetest young ladies I know. She is an inspiration to me on a daily basis!

As I was meditating, I continued to ask for much needed personal guidance. Because the past few days I felt a bit sad and stuck. My fears (false evidence appearing real, Jack Cannefiled) continued to show up. I was worried about money, my business, my goals and dreams.

The more I focused on my own issues, the more this sweet little message for Ashley, persisted! I finally gave up! “Okay, what does Ashley need to hear?” I asked in an irritable manner.

Once I wrote it down, tears filled my eyes. One by one streamed down my face, as I read word for word.

I told her I was sending it on, but I read it one more time. And Poof, out of no where, I received my own messages! They were amazing.

One of my messages: Sometimes, the road ahead appears to be difficult. Therfore, take one step at a time. Then if you slip a little off the path, you will have the strength to carry on with the other foot.

So even when you dont feel up for the challenges, life throws at you, it’s okay! Take time to be still, inhale/exhale and listen. You have the answers at your finger tips, you only need to allow yourself to receive them.

Ashley’s message, sent with love…

If you don’t feel stuck how will you celebrate or know what freedom feels like?
If you don’t feel a little hopeless, how will you know how it feels to be filled with hope?
I am with you and guiding you!

It is okay to feel down, it is all a part of the process. However, the best part is when in the valley (or the trough of a frequency) the next wave is up, up ,up so allow the frequency to move you.

Your next portion is going to move into your life so swiftly and peacefully, it will feel like a swift, warm, refreshing breeze zooming up to the crest or top of the wave! Ride high my dear friend and enjoy.

You have asked and now you shall receive!

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…

Several years ago a small ‘pocket book’ was published illuminating this topic ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff!’ The author gave scenarios and demonstrated how silly it is to worry and fret over the silly annoyances in life. I have each one of these books, to remind me to take life with a grain of salt. To seek the adventure life has to offer! Take the challenge allow your inner being to sing thru you.

Once you have decided and began this journey of being in the moment and making decisions based on your inner feelings; you will always want to feel this way.

However, in life we all have moments of sadness, irritation, aggravation anger that we must deal with from time to time. Recently I have found that freezing it in my mind, walking away and them come back to discuss or determine a solution is best for me. You see, in the past I would resist, argue, return ugly insults, ect. Now, I choose to not even utilize the negative vocabulary. Oh yes it creeps in at times. However, for the most part I choose a better reaction or to not react at all. It depends on the situation.
For example: I had a conversation with a friend and she was in a bad moode. Everything was wrong in her life. Her kid was a brat, didn’t have enough money, felt trapped. Listening to her talk was almost unbearable. I just kept thinking, stay calm, listen there is a reason for this conversation. After a little while and multiple attempts to change the conversation I feared I would say something to offend her. (Remember I lost my filter at the first break in my leg lol). Anyways, she was finally called away. I love this person and she needed to vent! I allowed her to do that for a small portion of time. The only problem is I was carrying this yuk, negative, irritated weight of emotion for her. I cried for her, the pain was real.

What do I do? Hmmmm I decided to plug in my phone and leave it home. I went to the pool and immediatly put my entire body under water. As I came up after a few seconds, I realized I had taken my own advice. I froze the situation and went to my fun happy place, water!!! (Yes, water of any kind takes me to a calm loving state). As I began my physical therapy I would search my paradigm for a good feeling thought. A vision of the future or a memory from the past. It was similar to the characters of Inside Out, running around plugging in emotions. Finally, I found a few to distract my negative emotion.

Later, that night I called my friend and said, “I love you and I want everything to be okay for you. If I can help in any way let me know.”

At that moment I realized I should take my own advice!!! She was laughing and continued to tell me about her little boy and how cute he was being. Her husband had cooked supper and bought flowers. She basically was a changed woman from four hours earlier. I hung up the phone, looked at my husband and said, “Yes, I have more writting material.”

Therefore, when I refer to Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, I mean don’t sweat other people’s small stuff either. My mom would tell me in the past…you call me and compla in or discuss your relationships  then you are off in an hour back to honeymoon phase. Isn’t that true? We all have that loved one who listens no matter what. Who loves us unconditionally who listens and cares so deeply that they will take on those emotions for us. My mommy does that for me. I try now to call or go see her after the fact and explain it’s all good. I don’t always remember, but most of the time I make the effort.

Take time to enjoy. Remember the small stuff is not worth it. I would not have changed listening to my friend, she was having a legitimate melt down for a moment. However, next time I will send her the energy I did this time, I will see her feeling better, but I will not allow myself to sweat it or hang on to it!!

I promise parents!!!! Most of the crazy, mixed up, emotions that follow parenting just means you need to keep following and reading my blogg. Because you can feel blissful even in the midst of chaos. Once you have incorporated a few simple techniques, you will be able to look back and say shew, we made it!!! And had fun while we were doing it!!!

No matter what ‘Be Happy’!!!!!!! If it makes you happy do more of it. Find time to laugh, enjoy. Yes, sometimes you will be presented with a not so good feeling situation. But do not sweat it!!!

God Bless

Sad, sad, sad…

Just like the lyrics of John Denver,”Some days are diamonds and some days are stone, sometimes the hard times won’t leave me alone.”

Have you ever had moments of sadness that sometimes are difficult to shake. Some people may suffer with depression. Yet others may become sad or have anxiety due to an illness or a loss of a loved one. I understand how you feel. However, once you have discovered how to live a habitual life of happiness, joy and YOUR BLISS, those feelings will not linger. I promise those, what I like to refer to as valleys or troughs, can and will become short lived, if you want them to.

You see according Napoleon Hill, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, and countless others they all refer to changing your mind first!!! Then the outcome you desire will begin to change, creating what’s in your mind. I questioned many of these techniques for years. However, each time I receive a message to write about, I attract a short lived situation to FEEL those emotions. (Almost like a test run for you).

Before I continue on, I want you to know, I had not experienced depression until my accident. However, I am a better person and much more understanding because of it. So am I admitting to being the person who would say, “You have food in your belly, a roof over your head and a life full of adventure and luxuries. Why or how could you be depressed?”

Almost creating a scene for those who were suffering, to feel worse about themselves. Yes, unfortunately I was the person who said those misunderstood statements and thoughts. I admit it! Now, my eyes have been opened, my heart softened and my spirit is open and accepting.

I admitted to those feelings or emotions to help you understand, I get it! The only difference for me is I truly choose and desire to live a happy, free spirited, blissful life. The greatest hurdle I have now is to continually reset, when I am not feeling those ‘feel good emotions.’

Yesterday, was one of those moments. I woke up in pain, felt exhausted and wanted to cry about everytjing. As the day progressed I searched for a feel good moment or wave to jump on. I complimented many people, attended a Just for Her Event, attempted to do my PT, nothing seemed to work. It was my day to feel down to remember…ummmmm nooo this is not what I choose. Then I did it! I jumped waves/frequency to a better or higher feeling.

How? I said, “Shutup!!!!!!!!!”

Yes, I told my memory holding, silly acting, paradigm-stored in my subconscious and relaying messages to my concious mind; who continually made me question everything to–SHUT-UP!!!! SHUT-UP!!!! SHUT-UP.

Yes, I began with a negative, but sometimes it’s needed to reset. Afterwards I laid down for just a short time, meditated, and began the evening in a much better ‘feeling’ state. I can not say it was as simple as turning on a faucet and turning it off, but I can tell you once you have lived in the now! Feeling the emotion of joy, happiness, and bliss you will change courses, reset, scream shutup to negative thoughts or emotions to ensure you experience the ‘feel good’ emotion more and more, leaving the sad moments behind.

My advice to you is find a saying, picture, piece of art, or some other inanimated object to grab and feel the emotion as you look or hold it. I have a silly picture of my kids printed. I will look at that or search my inspirational quotes folder to redirect my focus and reset my emotional vibration.

Other techniques I have used to reset or raise your vibration are take a short nap, meditate, listen to Abraham-Hicks, yoga, take Folic Acid and Vitamin D. I am sure there are a large variety of remedies and I am not suggesting you practice any of these, but you can ask your doctor if you choose.

God Bless and never forget you are special and wonderful!

Put on your rose colored glasses???

The world is what you say it is? Sometimes it’s better to put on your rose colored glasses and have fun.

Many people will take time to dispute my concept of rose colored glasses however, it’s true. Take time to try it. Go buy you some goofy glasses and put them on, take a picture and laugh. I bet you can’t even put them on without laughing or smiling at least. So if this is true why would people dispute it? Because it’s too simple. What? Yes you read correctly it’s too simple.

Let me explain…with all the shootings, horrific political disputes, cancer, illness, wars, bombings, you get the idea, how can anyone possibly say put on your rose colored glasses and move on? I understand their thoughts and feelings. But let’s try something…reread that paragraph for ten seconds. Then close your eyes and feel the feelings that go along with it. Sadness, fear, anger, and confusion. However, instead of dwelling on it or talking about it all day what can you really do to change it? I would love to say nothing because the next paragraph sometimes creates anxiety for people and that is not the intention. However, you can do something! What? You ask…

After you have read the above paragraph and felt the emotional attachment to the entire horrific world today. Re-set your brain. Try it you will be amazed.

Every morning when you wake up the sun comes up. It might be raining but the sun comes up. If it does rain there will be a rainbow. Smiles, hugs, laughter, love, flowers, beautiful sunsets, a hot bath, nice walk in the woods, friendships, adventure. The beautiful arrangement of words can continue for much longer than the words that bring you down. Try it. Repeat the steps you did above. Reread the paragraph dont critique, just read, then take five to ten seconds and feel the emotional attachment to those lovely words. Feel the warmth, take time to feel the joyful feeling of just rereading those words.

When I said there is something you can do to change it this is how. Yes it seems simple, but it is that simple. If I wrote of rape, death and politics yes, my message might go viral immediately but that is only a momentary glimpse of what is today. I promise if we work together, put on our rose colored glasses, jump on the higher frequency and replace the storms with rainbows and lollipops; the world will be a better place! It is our responsibility to choose our emotions, our vision and that will effect those around you. As it continues to grow, your life will eventually be what others see, when they put on those rose colored glasses the first time.

Please remember God loves you no matter what and there is enough for everyone. You can have do or be anything your choose. The question is how do or will you choose to live?

Sunday thoughts…

If you have been reading my blog you will know I am on a magnificent journey and I want to share it with you…so come along and enjoy with me!

As I laid in bed this morning I continually received a message to write about the down moments or the not so happy thoughts. Which I don’t like to do very much. However, it is a portion of life we all deal with just some more than others, so here it goes.

4:00 A.M. eyes pop open brain is racing, get up go to the restroom and go back to bed. Sound familiar? Only to close your eyes tightly and beg to go back to sleep! That’s what happened to me this morning. I would toss and turn, cover up only to strip off the blankets slowly almost like a form of bedtime excercise. Finally, I laid as still as possible to keep from waking up my husband. BAM! then it began!

What began? You ask? The flood! A flooding of thoughts, emotions, past scenarios, negative events, sadness, hopelessness, fear, anxiety, criticism the list could continue. As I write about it my chest feels heavy, my palms become sweaty, my neck hurts. I search my paradigm (past people, places, events that make up me) for a good connection, feeling or frequency. Anything to counteract this moment or feeling. Why did I have this moment? If things are so wonderful and my life is magnificent, why would I spend the most important time of my day feeling yuk?

To be quite honest it is part of life!! I am sure at this moment you are saying, “Thanks Teena! I already knew life sucked why did you need to remind me?”

Those moments are inevitable to life because it’s a frequency. What goes up must come down. Meaning everyone will have moments of struggle or what I like to call trough of the frequency. The one big difference is how long you stay in that state. Bare with me this ending is phenomenal!

Let me give you an example: after a beautiful vacation you come back refreshed and ready to go. Then Monday morning comes and you don’t feel quite so inspired that is normal. If you love your career and life this low feeling or sadness will pass quickly it’s just you were so happy and relaxed for that amount of time the routine is difficult get back. However, in a few short minutes (if you are happy) those feelings quickly flee.

Notice I continually said if you are happy, if you are on the right path. If you are not then those sad thoughts, feelings, frustrations, which will creep in for fleeting moments for everyone, will not be fleeting, but rather they will stay!

I know you don’t want that and I don’t like those feelings so now it’s time to reset! How? Change it, in your mind. Now at first this isn’t easy, but once you make it a habit it becomes fun.

Step one listen for a minute to the conscious mind. For example: this morning my mind would say what if they criticize your writings/teachings, what if they don’t like you, what if you are a flop, what about an unnamed person, who I spoke with last night, took offense to the message I gave her. By the time I began playing my game to erase these thoughts I could have cried. I was sad, worried, frustrated and feeling quite disgusting/ fearful.

Now it’s time to come back! If your mind says what if? Say in your mind well what if and fill in the blank. Example: what if you never get on Jimmy Falon? My mind says: What if I do and I hug him, all the Roots Band, his announcer (can’t think of his name) and blow big kisses out to crowd!!

Okay I know that was my come back, but it was fun and I know you could see it. I have a big smile on my face from just writing it. But you get the idea. I usually don’t even let those what If’s continue but today I did for a little longer to help you. The funny thing is my end result was amazing!

Anything, negative your conscions mind tells you, stop it!!! Yes argue with it. Yes bad things have happened in your life, yes you have suffered, yes someone has said mean things to you, but do you enjoy that feeling or what I call is a replay, like watching a rerun over and over again, thinking that it’s being filmed the same way each time. Create the feeling of joy, argue until it becomes fun, don’t fight just reset! Idc what it is you want to have, do, or be!! You can have it! It’s not that I don’t live ‘real’ life I live just like everyone else, I feel those emotions in the valley, the only difference is my life is on such a high frequency that I choose to only be in the valley for short moments, to remember how awesome life really is!

Take time today to stop the negative thoughts, experience them but then shut them down. Talk to yourself, create the image you desire! God Bless and never forget you are a gift!
