Happy Coaching 101 (Day three)

I felt like Wednesday was the day to share this particular coaching session. Honestly, I could write a book on what this lady taught me. Her messages, her thoughts, sometimes silence and her perspective. You see, this special lady taught me how to understand my messages, to accept them and most definetly share them. I have been strictly instructed to only tell her circumstances and an extremely vague description at that.

This lady had suffered great loss in her life. She has buried a child and her husband. That is all you are allowed to know. The saddest part is I was not allowed to save the majority of her coaching messages. Only those that were extra special, such as this one. However, those were her wishes.

Message: First…create a map,  a map of your life include pebbles, big rocks, water, whatever terrain that best describes you and your life. Including pathways, roads, highways, speed limits, marriage, births, special events, whatever it may be that you can remember, about your life up until this point. It is your creation. You may share with me if you so desire or not, either way it is up to you.

Second…I am givng you an eraser. A gigantic eraser and your instructions are simple, ERASE ALL THE BAD! I mean erase every tear, painful moment, trial or tribulation, everytime you felt less than, worthless, fearful, hopeless, destroyed. Erase them all.

Her response was priceless! But guess what? You are going to have to wait to see, what her response was and my come back message, until tomorrow. Why? Because I want you to create the design of this woman, her age, feelings, appearance and create this ‘hero’ in your head. And maybe you can go ahead and begin to create your life map. Who knows, we might be on to something, psst, I think we are.

To Be Continued…

God Bless Everyone!

Hey, if you are just now reading this post, skip back through Monday and Tuesday’s post Happy Coaching 101- 1 & 2. These are samples of actual coaching messages some people have received.

Trust Yourself…

I am sooo excited to write for you today! I have curled up in the corner of Momma Teena’s Writing Palace, it is super peaceful, quiet and inspiring (at least most of time it is inspiring, sometimes it is so amazing, I stay in a meditative state for a little longer than normal LOL).  Since the conception of Livelove, I have been Happy Coaching a wide variety of people and it has provided me with a multitude of unique perspectives.

One of the ‘messages’ that comes through on a regular basis is, “Trust Yourself!”

When asked, “Do you trust yourself?”

Many respond with a big, ‘N..O!’

To be quite honest this was disturbing to me. I questioned myself over and over again. “Teena, do you trust yourself?”

I truly thought I did! And for the majority of the time I am proud to say, “I trust myself.”

I may not always be perfect, but I know that if, I practice what I preach, trusting one self is a fantastic key factor to being happy- which includes plentiful of all you want.

Let me ask you…are you over weight? over stressed? too pooped to pop? Not feeling fullfilled on a daily basis?

If you were standing in front of me right now, (pause with anticipation) I would…SING to the top of my lungs, to you, “Let it Go! Let it Go! Let IT GOOOOOOOOO!”

You would probably, begin to see me open my mouth, take a huge inhale and just as I belted it out, YOU would RUN!

Therefore, be thankful, I choose to blog this portion, so you can be spared from my loud, off key, inspirational reindition of one my favorite Disney Songs.

However, it is true! Trusting yourself is a key factor to living the life you always wanted! You know–some of you have always battled weight, depression, anxiety, tierdness, financial status, relationships, disease, loss and the list could go on 7 on. Yes, I realize life can be a pain in the butt!

However, PLEASE trust me. Trusting yourself (you are trustworthy), is important.

Let me give you some fun and a quite funny experience to provide you with a clear perspective.

Over the past year, Eric and I had quite a few BIG CHANGES. One of them was he quit smoking (I never thought I would write that, but he did). We moved to a simplier lifestyle and well, to be hilariously honest, we became a bit sedentary. LOL. While in Hawaii we would giggle and tease each other about being a part of the rolly polly team. Yes, we had found ourselves in a bit of a predicament. Not bad, actually it is terrific! But we both like to be in decent shape and so we began to research some weightloss and workout programs. We have laughed and laughed at some of the scams we have come across. Eat this everyday, until it comes out of your nose and then you will do it!

Okay! It was time for us to begin to, ‘trust ourselves.’ We came up with a plan and are tweeking it to fit our needs. I have combined my many years of research, from Scarsdale Diet to Protein Power and now to trusting my brain. Not in punishement style, but rather in happy style.

When you are driving through and grabbing a snack do you ever stop and think, “Am I going to ENJOY this food? Is it going to be fantabulous going down?”

Whatever, it takes for you to TRUST YOURSELF. Not just about weight. Take time to pause in all situations and listen to your natural instinct. Does it feel terrific? Does it feel right, to you? If you have a question or concern, then do some more investigating. If not, then go for it!

God Bless EVERYONE!

You are trustworthy, therefore allow yourself to trust you!

Really? Are you joking?

20171106_174607-466337967.jpg

I know I have posted two already, but just one more and I will be done, for today! Okay? Sounds good to me!

This is a little heartfelt story that most of you could not imagine.

I have a confession to make. Me, Teena Drake, has video fright. I don’t know why this is the craziest thing! I am working on it, but I know I am struggling because of my actions from today.

In the beginning of the day, once I realized my trip of ten hours had been delayed, I planned to write a little bit. I might create one post, but it is time to ramp up my game. Ugh! The truth hurts sometimes. However, as I was researching for a post from my mother, it became more and more clear as to why my ‘traffic’ is limited on my website. I mean, I almost drowned in the sea of postings, rhymes, words, images. Then the thought to follow more bloggers came to mind and I decided to search. I felt like Mr. Wiggles and Mr. Waggles walking up the hill and down the hill, up the hill and down the hill.Until I reach the top to find it was not as clear as what my final destination, really was.

Anywhooooo, I continued to search for The Mind of Kitty blog and for new ones I would enjoy. (Pause, big deep breath in and now exhale), Nothing! I found nothing. By the time I was finished I couldn’t even find my own blog. This is not to blame any of the websites. Heck, I am amazed at all of your potentials…( I am saying that to the website developers). However, tell that to the ninety percent of social media readers/watchers; what is it called? It is not television viewers, not really texters, millennials? Noooo because they were all ages and all walks of life. I guess ‘societers’. Yes, I made that word up. They do not care nor have time to search for one person, let alone have time to read it all. That’s when I realized it is not that people don’t read blogs and enjoy them, but rather they really don’t have time. I mean once I read 7 different bloggers my day was half over. Hence, another reason I  know I am struggling with making videos.

Why? Because like I said before, once I realized the trip was off, I took my shower and dressed for work. Then I continued to find one excuse after another. I set up the tri-pod- that is all I did, I put on makeup, fixed my hair ten times… then it was time for a snack, shew I was starved. Excuse after excuse. Well, it is getting dark so Eric may be home soon. Darn, I missed my chance again.

I have literally cleaned the house, washed all dishes, started the laundry, packed and unpacked again. Finally, I realized it and couldn’t risk blogging about it! Someone asked me, “What about speaking to large groups?”

I have no problem and the larger the group the better, but that video camera and I (pause, big inhale and exhale) we are going to come to an agreement. Until then I want to apologize if I become too wordy and you just wanted to know the message or if there was one. Therefore, I am completing this post with a promise!!!!! (I am smiling really big and so excited to type my promise…), “Oh, are you still waiting for me?”

I Promise, from now on I will no longer waste your time! I will incorporate a Highlighted words somewhere at the top of the post and in the excerpt that says, “This contains a message for you to improve your life for the best.”

Okay, it might just say this is important in bold letters! However, I promise if it is me, Teena Drake, just writing funny thoughts in my head, I will let you know!

Shew! I hope that helped you, it made me feel a great deal better. One more thing, once I see my friend at Kentuckiana News and she shakes the fears away from me, I will keep my video blogs short and sweet, yet uplifting and educational. We have so many great things to share with you. I am excited to be living and of course, writing.

I know life gets messy and that is okay. We would be bored without a couple or more messes in our lives.

If you are still reading this blog until the end, pssst I have something to tell you…

Follow me, if you want.

THANK YOU!!!!!! From the bottom of my heart, I wish nothing more than for something I write, helps another. If only in laughter or illuminating a thought. Whether you agree with me or disagree, it is still stimulating you to take action and quit sitting and waiting for life to happen to or for you! Wow, that was refreshing!

I Love you, Do you?

“Gosh, I love you so much! I love the way you walk, talk, laugh and cry! I love your hair, smile…I just love you sooo much!!!!!”

“Did you know my fat butt gained twenty pounds? I hate the way I waddle. Oh, here I go again stuffing my face with all the guilt feelings of why I love the delicious, savory flavors that were so strategically placed in this dish, for me to feel guilty about! I hate my hair, hate my skin…You know I have a disorder. And ADHD, my parents well they sucked, my kids are even worse. I hate that I am broke, sick and tired of being sick and tired! OH! However, I love you! So good to see you again!”

WHAT????? Please don’t stop reading, don’t stop reading, please!!!! This is an inspirational writing from the depths of my SEA of emotional thought patterns.

Everyone has had a friend like this or maybe it is YOU, that would respond in such a manner. It is okay, don’t beat yourself up over this one. We have all played the victim at one point or another. The fat victim, sad, misfortune, my life sucks, he destroyed me or she is a tramp victim. I don’t care what title you have carried, but I can assure you, we are all in this together!

Here is the eye-opening situation…You and only you are allowed to decide where you are and where you are going! Yep, in all situations. Therefore, the statement he can only love you as much as you love yourself isn’t actually correct.  (I am sure psychologist and my family are like what in the world, Teena has lost her mind! And you might be correct!)

Just hold on! It is not as bad as you think!

I am going to repeat the words I wrote earlier, let them sink in as you read them!

“You and only you are allowed to decide where you are and where you are going! Yep, in all situations.”

Therefore, I love you, do you love you? Is the question. I truly do love everything and unconditionally about my children and if I were, to be honest, I can strongly say this about my family and my friends. I realize that is a pretty strong statement and yes, you might be able to come up with some situations I would have to ponder, but my friends/family can vouch for me my love for them is pure!)

However, I have had to stop and contemplate my love for me! I always thought I loved myself unconditionally. I always thought I could only love someone else as much as I love myself. Gosh, if that is true and my studies (on how I trust and love myself) means I love people only based on the conditions they are doing ‘good’ for me! (I DO NOT! So do not take this out of context like someone who is reading a book and quoting me statements from one sentence, grrrrr that makes me irritable).

So is it true? or False? Someone can only love you as much as you love yourself? I don’t know, however, now that I have collected inventory on my emotions, it is the time for me to begin to love myself! Believe in me, enjoy the same love I have always given. Then, if the statement is true everyone around me will benefit. That means the better I become, the more trustworthy and loving I am towards me, I will have more to give. Spiritually, emotionally, financially and lovingly.

I am sorry, I can’t seem to find the words to wrap this up. I want to continue to ramble about how amazing it is to recognize why I want and desire to love me! How many others will benefit and be enriched…

Bring it on…

As the questions of: How am I going to pull all this together? Will people want to come to our workshops? How? What? When? Why am I super nervous? I keep responding with, “Bring it on!!!!!”

You know the right path or the least resistance path (Abraham-Hicks) is the one you are on when you feel it! You feel the fear, but it doesn’t overwhelm you. You feel the terrifying what ifs? However, they disappear quickly. Do I continue to step back a couple of steps, tilt my head, view the steps and think OMG, maybe I am wrong? OF COURSE!

Yesterday, I told one of my executives, who I wouldn’t make it with out, maybe I should go back to a J.O.B. As I wallowed in my silly fears. (Jack Cannefield- False, Evidence, Appearing, Real).

Then it happens! I will schedule several steps to accomplish, bringing us one step closer to providing the world happy thoughts, happy life, happy feelings. (Now that is a great deal of happy). Once, I begin my process each morning, someone essential to our growth will call, email or I meet someone while I am out! This doesn’t happen every now and then, it happens each time. It is amazing how that happens.

As I read and study some portions of my favorite authors, the messages are clear. Brian Tracy explains if you don’t set a goal you wont achieve it. Jack Cannefield discusses leaving blame out of the equation and look forward. Zig Ziglar talks about being careful to not get cooked in the squat, like his mother’s biscuits. Dale Carnegie focuses on how to be the best in the business, I love all of his teachings, but I prefer to say, your best not the best (with the switch of wording we can focus on our own growth, which will leave anyone else’s growth out of the equation).  What about one of my favorites, Wallace D. Waddles his book- The Science of Getting Rich. Waddles discusses the thinking stuff, if and when you think it and visualize it, things form from thoughts. Just to name a few of my favorites.

Life is amazing! When you begin to take care of you, everyone and everything else will fall into place. Will you have doubt and fear? YES, but only you can decide what fear and doubt you choose to keep! ONLY YOU! Isn’t that crazy it all boils down to you? In this fact, me.

I say, “FEAR and DOUBT step aside. I have a message to share. It is a lifetime of studying, gathering and depicting what you need to hear. Therefore, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!! I am excited for the new adventures and although I have fleeting moments of doubt they disappear almost as soon as they appear!”

You are wonderful. Decide today to feel your way throughout the day! If you want to take a nap, find a way to take a nap. Look for the good feeling path and although the more resistant path will appear, choose the one that is more fun! They will both take you to your end result, one just hurts a great deal more.

God Bless

I can’t wait to see you at one of our ‘Happy Workshops’ We are going to have So much FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!!!!!

What do Snow White and Cinderella have in common?

As we study a new way to habitually live, it only seems appropriate to analyze some childhood memories. You see in today’s world our queens and princesses are more dominant or independent. However, the original princesses such as Snow White and Cinderella were considered damsels in distress, helpless and in need of a hero. I can remember when I would point out many negatives about the two characters and think how sexist the shows truly were. However, it never failed, if the girls were watching either of these shows, I would become mesmerized and stop whatever I was doing to complete the movie. (I even played the role of Snow White in a school play at one time.)

Today, I am asking you to take a different perspective on our damsel’s in distress! What if we simply accepted their stories based on the time frame they were written and first watched. Would we see their lives in a different light? Let’s see if these two princesses (later to become queen) can impact our lives and strategically place us on a path of least resistance.

Snow White…abandoned by her stepmother (the queen), sent out to be killed, life was spared because? She was super nice and beautiful. You see that Huntsman couldn’t do it! Even if he was going against orders of the Queen. Snow White emitted kindness, caring, understanding and positive vibrations. Now let us think…hmmm how would you or I feel if we were taken into the woods, only to realize it was our last walk from home, the beautiful castle and home are, no more. Although the man who was supposed to take our life, didn’t go thru with the deed, he did leave you or me in the dark and say run for your life! Never return or the queen will kill you! After writing all of that I realize how brave she really was! I would have probably fallen apart.

Cinderella…abused by her step-mother and sisters, expected to clean, cook and take care of her cruddy step family. Only to be locked away in her room when the prince came looking for her. Yet, she continued to stay positive! She would clean, feed the animals, sing and from the stories point of view, she was a blissful human being. Again put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel? Would you refuse to meet all the demands of these horrific people? Or would you leave never to return? I must admit I would have probably been killed on the spot for my smart mouth! However, Cinderella continued to find a good feeling and stayed in that vibration. She would sing, dance, whistle or speak to the animals.

In comparison, both stories have a great deal in common. However, the one common attribute for each princess is their positive attitude. They both saw a better life. Snow White ended up finding seven dwarfs who loved ‘whistling while they worked.’ They didn’t mind their jobs and were ecstatic as well as appreciative of Snow White’s talents. Cinderella found her way to the ball. (Which was an amazing opportunity for anyone in the land). Her prince didn’t only recognize her beauty, but he saw the positive, kind, fun loving Cinderella, for who she really is.

Do you think those are all coincidences? Do you think it was by chance they received what they wanted out of life? Why didn’t they continue in the same old rut and continue to be abused? After a great deal of analyzing these two stories, it is pretty simple to observe how these ladies found their path to least resistance. They had a vision and what their life was, at the time, was not their vision. However, neither princess ever gave up!!!!

I do realize we live in a world full of despair and depression. Is it the president’s fault? Is it your spouse’s? Oh, I understand it is your children’s fault? I also realize these are fairy tale characters we are discussing…does it really matter? No! It is a great comparison!

Begin today, to tell your fairytale. Even if you are a damsel in distress, flat broke, feeling like crap and wishing you could just receive a simple break, in life. The GREAT NEWS is YOU CAN!!!!!!!! What is your story? Yes, everyone has a negative story, but if you listen closely, they only receive a great outcome if they are looking for it. Tell the story you want. It is okay if it is sometimes a struggle, do it anyway. In my home, we entitle this, “Fake it till you make it!”

Isn’t it time to feel GREAT! Feel it, visualize it and receive. Ask for what you want and believe you deserve it. Then receive it!!! Just like these two princesses, yes they had to go thru some crap to receive the life they both desired. However, they continued to feel good and eventually both received a life of joy, wealth, happiness, partnership and much more. You can do this too! How? Change your story it is as simple as that!

Livelove,

Your Pinkologist! (That makes me laugh every time I write it because? It just does!)

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…

Several years ago a small ‘pocket book’ was published illuminating this topic ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff!’ The author gave scenarios and demonstrated how silly it is to worry and fret over the silly annoyances in life. I have each one of these books, to remind me to take life with a grain of salt. To seek the adventure life has to offer! Take the challenge allow your inner being to sing thru you.

Once you have decided and began this journey of being in the moment and making decisions based on your inner feelings; you will always want to feel this way.

However, in life we all have moments of sadness, irritation, aggravation anger that we must deal with from time to time. Recently I have found that freezing it in my mind, walking away and them come back to discuss or determine a solution is best for me. You see, in the past I would resist, argue, return ugly insults, ect. Now, I choose to not even utilize the negative vocabulary. Oh yes it creeps in at times. However, for the most part I choose a better reaction or to not react at all. It depends on the situation.
For example: I had a conversation with a friend and she was in a bad moode. Everything was wrong in her life. Her kid was a brat, didn’t have enough money, felt trapped. Listening to her talk was almost unbearable. I just kept thinking, stay calm, listen there is a reason for this conversation. After a little while and multiple attempts to change the conversation I feared I would say something to offend her. (Remember I lost my filter at the first break in my leg lol). Anyways, she was finally called away. I love this person and she needed to vent! I allowed her to do that for a small portion of time. The only problem is I was carrying this yuk, negative, irritated weight of emotion for her. I cried for her, the pain was real.

What do I do? Hmmmm I decided to plug in my phone and leave it home. I went to the pool and immediatly put my entire body under water. As I came up after a few seconds, I realized I had taken my own advice. I froze the situation and went to my fun happy place, water!!! (Yes, water of any kind takes me to a calm loving state). As I began my physical therapy I would search my paradigm for a good feeling thought. A vision of the future or a memory from the past. It was similar to the characters of Inside Out, running around plugging in emotions. Finally, I found a few to distract my negative emotion.

Later, that night I called my friend and said, “I love you and I want everything to be okay for you. If I can help in any way let me know.”

At that moment I realized I should take my own advice!!! She was laughing and continued to tell me about her little boy and how cute he was being. Her husband had cooked supper and bought flowers. She basically was a changed woman from four hours earlier. I hung up the phone, looked at my husband and said, “Yes, I have more writting material.”

Therefore, when I refer to Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, I mean don’t sweat other people’s small stuff either. My mom would tell me in the past…you call me and compla in or discuss your relationships  then you are off in an hour back to honeymoon phase. Isn’t that true? We all have that loved one who listens no matter what. Who loves us unconditionally who listens and cares so deeply that they will take on those emotions for us. My mommy does that for me. I try now to call or go see her after the fact and explain it’s all good. I don’t always remember, but most of the time I make the effort.

Take time to enjoy. Remember the small stuff is not worth it. I would not have changed listening to my friend, she was having a legitimate melt down for a moment. However, next time I will send her the energy I did this time, I will see her feeling better, but I will not allow myself to sweat it or hang on to it!!

I promise parents!!!! Most of the crazy, mixed up, emotions that follow parenting just means you need to keep following and reading my blogg. Because you can feel blissful even in the midst of chaos. Once you have incorporated a few simple techniques, you will be able to look back and say shew, we made it!!! And had fun while we were doing it!!!

No matter what ‘Be Happy’!!!!!!! If it makes you happy do more of it. Find time to laugh, enjoy. Yes, sometimes you will be presented with a not so good feeling situation. But do not sweat it!!!

God Bless

Livelove!!!!!!
